To all the Porsche experts out there…🙄
I saw the paperwork and the receipt. And a scan of the watch ordered. Can’t speak to what your dealer does…and if I hadn’t of seen it I wouldn’t be bothering with all this, short of calling me a liar. If you doubt me then I have nothing else you say. So at this point, I’ll end it. The dealership is the Fort Myers FL Porsche dealership. The sales manager is Brittany Cocca, if you have nothing better to do call her on your dime and see if they had a customer in by the name of Andy from Naples FL come in recently to order a Cab4S. Hope 2026 is a good year for all of you. Oh yeah It’s in red btw. And he bought the silly watch! So he won’t be hard to remember.

Very nice! I will have the same exact pair once my T arrives. Current daily is a Taycan GTS in chalk, and my T will be carmine. Digital + Analog = makes a nice pair

The hybrid version of the Porsche 911 sports car is due in showrooms in the middle of this decade – in 2025 or 2026 – as part of the facelifted petrol line-up due next year.

The 992.2 (the facelift) is coming for model year 2025 in Q1 or Q2 2024. It will introduce hybridization on certain models. There are tons of post pertaining to this within this very tread as well as others. It is happening prior to 2026. Google “Porsche 992.2.”

Ha, haven’t heard that song in ages. But that’s right…911 is always hammer time!

I saw the Savagegeese review this AM and it was amusing. A couple of years ago, I was at the dinner table with top engineers from GM, Ford, Toyota and Honda (they not only all own a 911 but multiple Porsches…wonder y, ha). After discussing minute details of engine components and countless types of stitching (don’t mean deviated), we were talking about the LC 500. Everyone agreed it’s a beautiful design…but they would chuckle if one said they’d choose it over a 911 (including the Toyota guy). I’ve driven the LC 500. It sounds and handles great. But I can’t forget how heavy and sluggish it felt. I’m pretty sure it weighs more than 2 tons. Choosing that over a 911 wouldn’t even cross my mind. U can mod the audio and exhaust to make the 992 sound rawer/better and at under $130K. My friend with a C8 with a Borla exhaust (it’s loud) recently said he likes how my 6 cyl T sounds more than his 8 cyl C8. I hope reviews like that doesn’t confuse / dissuade anyone from getting the best sports car period….

U know I had to snap one from my drive last night. Man, life is so much good-er with my T!

Has anyone done ecu tune for 2023 Carrera T? I was browsing on APR website and noticed the 3.0T base engine tune is only for 2020-2022. Maybe an oversight?

The point I was getting at with my question was the upgrades for a GTS and a T are the same parts. So if you are going to upgrade a GTS, might as well just start with a T. Unless someone knows something I don't?
Exactly! Yeah, that is a great point! That is what I will ultimately do. I would not get the GTS because I can make my T faster for less than the base price of a GTS. Like you said I will also still have my stock parts, that I can put on for any reason down the road!

It is a T, or am I missing the joke? I might be missing it, but it is in fact a T that will one day be as fast or faster than a GTS

For roads like this, you don't need a 911, you need a muscle car! A car that goes very fast, straight. Well, I guess if you need to have a 911 on these roads, get a Turbo S and go practice your 0-150-0 runs.

Hi @Devon Racer

I think I am about a week to 10 days behind you but cannot be sure as sales guy is on holiday. I am off to Belgium tomorrow until Tuesday and have promised to help my daughter move house on the following Saturday so picking it up will not be easy, especially as the wife has made the very reasonable request - she wants to be there!

Enjoy your car. Your spec looks great. In many ways ours are similar in “ethos” if I dare use that word 😂

But my lights were specced partly due to you woes….
