Here's the deal...Stumbled upon a new Carrera T a few days ago. I little over spec'd for my liking but can be had for less than $10K over MSRP including delivery to my house (over 500 miles away). My local dealer will sell to me at MSRP but of course I'd have to wait 6 to 8 months. So is ADM typical nowadays for a vehicle on the lot that can be had immediately? If so, how much over are peeps paying? Obviously, the money thing is all relative and I don't want to wait so I'm willing to pay the ADM.
I ended up looking for a 911 T when my 2024 Cayenne S when into stop sale with an estimated fix date sometime in September. Sold my TRX 2 days before I was to pick-up the Cayenne only to find out it was a no go....Of course I was too impatient to wait 6 to 8 weeks and I said screw it, I'm getting a 911.
This will be my daily driver. It's been almost 8 years since I've driven a manual regularly. I've been a Corvette guy in the past and my C7 Z06 was a manual.
First, post so be kind....
Many thanks!
Greg
This is totally a personal decision. You're not getting your ADM back when you resell the car, so expect to take that loss. If you're comfortable with that plus the spec of the car, then go for it. For me, being able to spec my own car was an incredibly rewarding part of the purchase process and it was important to me so I would wait and get the exact car I wanted. If the money is a big factor, then consider if you're also getting the pre-price increase MSRP because that's a considerable difference in total price as well. If you're getting early 2023 pricing plus ADM, then that's the same as late 2023 pricing, and if there's an ADM on top of that, it may sway your decision.

What's the spec and MSRP?
Totally okay with the ADM loss since I'm getting immediately. The car landed on the dealer lot around 7/28. MSRP is $142,700. White, upgraded black leather with adaptive sport seats plus and mem pack, black arrow kit, extended fuel tank, GT sport steering wheel with Race-tex, black wheels, front lift, ventilated seats, fire ext, folding mirrors, white tach, white inlays, PDLS+, exclusive taillights, black window trim and puddle lights. I would have spec's the same way except standard interior and no exclusive taillights. Probably would have added rear steering.

Thanks.
Rear steer is a contentious topic around here, so I won't comment on it. . It looks like the Aerokit is not available on the configurator right now, so if that's super important then maybe take the car. If Aerokit does become available by the time you lock in your order, your MSRP would be closer to 150k with today's pricing.
Quick review: the base audio is not nearly as bad at it was made out to be. Turn up the base and treble and it’s quite good.
I agree with you, people put it down unfairly.
Compared to my 1986 battery powered transistor radio it’s kind of OK.
Probably also depends what type of music you’re listening to.

cool! 1 Bimmer & all Porshas. This is my measly collection. My T is my first Porsche owned but mainly Porsche toy cars were there from age 18. My favorite is the 918 Spyder. I need to slow down on my Jordan sneaker / PSA graded baseball card collection and ramp up on my toy cars instead. Oh, pic doesn’t include the toy PNA sent me this year for buying T.

Unclear where you’re from or if u want a MT or pdk? My former colleague had a MT C7 Z06. Awesome car! Maybe your comment means u want a PDK? Not sure. Anyway, just heard from a little birdie at a car meet last night that Englewood Porsche in NJ has a PDK T for sale at MSRP. Don’t have additional details than that. If pdk and near there, u may want to give them a ring…..
I hope this is legit to post here. My SA in the Chicago Suburbs has a slot available for a T. November delivery. Just passing the info along. Someone gets a car, and I get some goodwill.
send me a private message and I’ll send his deets.
It seems many T hopefuls are still on waitlists, so this may help someone out. ADM? If so, how much? That's the first question you'll get from potential takers.
@Wilder Maybe I missed ur original message and just curious. What is the purpose of this spreadsheet? To see who ranks highest in T miles driven? If so, I’m only at 1,600 miles in 2+ months (nowhere near the top) so moot point for someone like me.
