Mine came with clear side markers so I don’t get why they even make amber markers.

The clears blink amber, so there’s no real reason for the amber side markers at all. U.S. DOT is just antiquated.

Who cares, it's the man's car. Some of us don't spec or modify our cars to impress anyone and you can't see them from the driver seat!

I have zero problem with what he does with his own car.

I do have problem with someone spouting off inaccuracies on what is "factory" spec and criticizing others for their personalization choices on top of it.

It is "factory" spec for US cars. As you don't agree what are your thoughts on steering? What is "factory" spec RHD or LHD. Same argument can be applied.

I am not sure what your problem is but I am not replaying this entire discussion for you. Go back and re-read the entire thing. I and everyone else made our views very clear.

don't bother, get back to enjoying chalk car pictures ... it's a pointless argument with this guy, who doesn't even appear to have a 992.. Apparently Factory spec is what the majority of produced cars are made with, not what a target market or regulatory body demands.

As per policy all of this avoids the actual facts.

Take this *** clown with a grain of salt. He ran the same know it all BS on me a couple weeks ago. Just say "UNCLE" and tell him he is absolutely right about everything other wise he will stalk you all over this forum until you do.
Could you imagine getting that upset over the color of turn signal lenses, good grief. I can't imagine anyone being that angry.

The only reason I haven't blocked him is he claims to own a 356C... but really man... the passion he has for the lights is next level... wonder if he's modified his 356C from it's delivery options to make it look "cooler" 🤷🏽‍♂️

I really love the chalk color! My GTS will have that in the interior. If I wasn’t “stuck” on adventurine green I would have chalk on the exterior. But I got hooked on adventurine in the 90’s on a 993 I almost bought and have regretted it. Now that Porsche brought it back it edged out chalk but chalk is a great color IMO.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe the factory spec name is crayon.
