2021 Delivery Date?

When did 21s start showing up?
My dealer just called and said my allocation (C4S) just opened up and I will be "one of the first people to have a 2021 when it arrives in late April 2021". Made a big deal about being a Premier dealership so they get them earlier than everyone else.
Sounds like a lot of BS to me.

I find it slightly comical that people are clinging to by the minute database updates from a government agency who has proven expediency is of no concern, to discredit recent dealer claims of vehicles departing the port. Frankly it may be true, they may not have cleared and these may be empty promises, but if these claims of an block still being in place are in reference to online government reporting, forgive me if I have absolutely zero faith that they are being updated in real time...

this is an active block in the Porsche system, not the epa. My sales manager is my childhood friend and he is a text away to look. As of this afternoon, Porsche is still showing in their system active blocks for epa certification and monroney labels. Furthermore, the dealer cannot bill a customer for a car until the actual dealer is invoiced for the car, this occurs after release to transport.

If they were released and some had departed the ports, then some would have reached the dealers by now- considering that a great number of dealers are within half a days drive from the ports. And that would be all over this board. Proof is in the pudding. Not a matter of who you do or don’t believe, it’s a matter of no 21 992’s at dealers.

Here is my 2 cents for what it is worth...Was at our dealer an hour ago...Talked to our SM, who checked the Porsche Management System showing the 992's on sale date is still estimated 11/06 ...They did receive (21) 2021 Cayennes over the last two days...2021 Macan S, GTS, Turbos have been released, also. Apparently this EPA thing is not new for Porsche, has happened in the past. Our 2018 Macan GTS sat at the port for three months. That's all folks...

Facts right here! If the on sale date stays expect the 992’s to start being released next week so they arrive at dealers a few days before Friday. They need some time to do dealer prep before the sale. You should’ve taken a pic next to the 21 cayenne for comic relief - not sure we ever got one on the thread yet..

Understand people are disappointed and it’s warranted, but the commitment to stamping out any semblances of hope that comes with these updates seems unnecessary. Again I understand many of you have been waiting months on empty promises from dealers, and simply don’t have time for anymore let down on this front, but we are all looking forward to the same thing in the end...

Well, even if my car ends up at the dealer end of this week, I’ll sign for it, sit in it, confirm there’s no issues with it, but I’m still shipping it out for PPF install, so unlikely. My sale date still shows as 11/6 though in PTYD. Sorry some of you have been waiting a while with cars at port since August. It sucks but it really is a first world problem. I ordered my car back in June. I’ve been waiting 5 months. It is what it is. If you don’t like it, get your deposit back and buy something else. I don’t know what else to tell you.
