Porsche uses enclosed trailers. Unless you have X-Ray Vision and/or can personally visit the loading point at the port; watching for traditional 18 wheel car carriers loaded with 911's will net zero sightings.

Has anyone asked their dealer if the PSVM system has shown any changes? Like from "administrative hold" to "released for transport"?

It would seem that a dealer's PSVM system has been "adjusted" so that it is now just as unreliable as TYD.

I know when EPA was passed, PCNA sent an email to all the dealers that morning. I expect the same thing to happen with CARB release. Unless the dealers can show you an email from PCNA saying the cars are released, then these are just rumors.

This is our first Porsche. Making the leap from Audi to Porsche. We ordered our 992 in April as a 2020, Covid hit and pushed us into model year 2021 which was fine. All good until vehicle hit the Port in 10/22/20. Has been there since. In any case, as per the posts on this forum, extremely disappointed in communications from dealer. Appreciate the information given by all, at least we now know whats going on.

Try to remain calm....it will all be much better after delivery - given the delays in all industries this isn't much to worry over...i learned my car was off loaded at Davisville Rhode Island just before a few inches of snow came down

seems puzzling that Porsche would have “paid” for extended maintenance costs that won’t begin to be incurred (by owners or dealers for at least a year or so (or closer to 2 years, perhaps).

Yes, Porsche has apparently committed to providing the "+1" service package to anyone waiting >30 days, and "+2" package if waiting > 60 days. They don't actually pay for anything until the service is done, and the performing dealership is then paid. The package is transferable (at least it is when you purchase it yourself), and the +2 package costs about $2,450.

moreover, until there is official PCNA commitment and terms for PSMP+ extension, it’s all speculation.
