I'm still hoping for a miracle that gets EPA/CARB done this week :-)

TDY has not been very accurate, but Marine Traffic is out of range. TDY showing around 2000 miles to San Diego chugging along at 14.9 knots... Our SM told us this morning 09/09 is the estimated EPA certification date...Not sure for the U.S. or just California.

This was the satellite position earlier today (the G is technically the green triangle just beneath the red one pointed at by the ship label box):

Also, my SA just texted me and said that Porsche is showing a country-wide release date of 9/9, but we still need KARB in Kalifornia :-)

Retail price opinion
Greetings fellow Poseidon-ites
Alfa Romeo is still unable to confirm or deny that my vehicle is onboard although my dealer still is telling me so. I have an appointment to see the dealer this Friday to discuss the order that I first placed on February 10.
As the world and the car market has changed since that time I intend to renegotiate my order pricing. Edmunds has their market value right where my price is currently yet Kelly Blue Book is 10% less. I intend to ask for at least a 10% reduction or I am prepared to walk away from the deal.
My question to you is if you think I'm being unreasonable or should I ask for more..or less...or nothing at all? My dealer has been close to useless throughout the past 7 months so at this point I no longer really care if I get the car or not as the entire process has left me with about as much excitement and anticipation as buying a pair of pants...

You're ahead of me. I ordered mid-December for April delivery and gave them my AMG wagon as trade-in then so I could guarantee the sales tax credit and didn't drive it in the snow anyway. They were very careful to specifically not guarantee a delivery date. Doubt I will buy again from these guys. I think Boise is just too low volume to get any attention from PCNA.

I'm sad to hear that you lost all the excitement of getting this car--which to me is more important than the deal. I ordered my car in the beginning of March, and with all the shut downs and everything it was a brutal wait-- but it only intensified the excitement of getting my car. If you reached out to us on another car manufacturer's message board to try and track your car, that tells me you really wanted a special car and should be more excited than buying a pair of pants. I'd ask your dealer to let you test drive another Alfa when you are there again. If you don't love it again after being this far in the journey, then that will say a lot.
