Good Morning G Poseidon followers...Ship is on the move, but not what we would like so far...presently being pushed into a different mooring three docks over...
FWIW, I just noticed that the load condition of the ship is now "Laden". It had been "Partially Laden" during previous checks. I do not know when this occurred, however, so maybe it has been this way for a while. But I'd like to think that means it just needs some fuel and then it needs to get underway!

Laden just means the ship has completed loading the cargo. So it won’t be long now.

Yeah, my dealer (Lyle Pearson in Boise) who I have used before and liked has been unhelpful - car was due in April and produced prior to covid factory shut down - then gets lost for 4-5 months. All I get is its Covid. After much whining I finally speak to head of west coast sales and - drum roll - get a $1000 Porsche credit and a free second year service. Considering Porsche's margins are supposed to be in the 20% range on a $150G plus car not very impressed. Glad to have you guys keeping me updated on the boat.
I placed my order on February 8 and I have had absolutely no problem about the Alfa Romeo factory shutdown...it's a pandemic. But once the factory reopened there was no information flow whatsoever. Totally unacceptable for a major purchase. Once I know the boat is in San Diego I plan to see my dealer to renegotiate my deal. If they are unwilling to do so they can keep the car and refund my deposit. I found out more production and shipping info on my own than they told me during the past 6 months...which they could have done with a minimal effort. All that told me was that they could care less about my business so now my feeling is mutual. What could have been a great brand building opportunity with a new customer has just about turned me off as a consumer. So it goes...rant over...

Not to say anything bad about Alfa Romeo, but just in case your deal doesn't work out, I can guarantee there are some Porsche stunners on the boat that may be looking for new homes. Just saying.... ;-)
