Photos are from the webcams I mentioned earlier...although not live...it still was exciting...

Must be working on the weekend unloading our builds as Marine Traffic updated over night showing G. Poseidon being in Benicia, CA on 09/07...

TDY updated, but shows the ship will not enter the port till 09/11 ...Maybe once Porsche gets the EPA certification in place...Porsche will be a little more accurate... got to give them some credit...it does say estimated

I knew they were webcam pictures, but you took the time to capture/save them!

My TYD has also updated to show 9/11 in port. I’m assuming it’s one of those things where there is an area in the port that is technically not US soil, or is a holding area where things sit as they await official entry to the country.

I think I said it already, but this delay has totally taken the fun out of tracking the voyage. Knowing it is in town but I won’t see it for a month due to bureaucracy is just sad.

Living in San Diego...Maybe you would be able to find the Porsche holding area and smooooosh security to get some photos...

Update; G. Poseidon has left the Port of San Diego heading up the coast to Benicia, CA...estimated arrival 09/07...2300 hrs.

TDY is up to its usual inaccuracy...

smiles11... looks like you may watching it arrive in the moonlight...

lol we got overly excited when we saw the initial dock time to arrive in Benicia tomorrow morning @ 10am. We booked a night in Benicia near the port for tonight. Now it’s set to arrive tomorrow night at 10pm/11pm.

So now we added an extra night at the Hyatt near the Golden Gate for tomorrow.

I feel so unappreciated. . . . . did you select to have your delivery scheduled to be done at the PECLA? That would explain the invitation. OTOH if you didn't select a PECLA delivery . . . curious minds want to know, who is your dealer? I could probably clear a bit of time in my busy (I'm retired) schedule if I absolutely had to. I'd be willing to sacrifice myself and take one for the team.

No, we do not have a PECLA delivery. Our build is sitting in San Diego with delivery really unknown...Palm Springs Porsche...

At least we think it is...TYD shows our build is on its way to Benicia...
TYD has more glitches to work out...

Mine shows the same. I’m pretty sure they’re in San Diego, but I wouldn’t totally be surprised if they left them on the ship and are dropping off other marques that have been certified. Maybe they’ll swing back around after Benicia. (I’m hopefully joking, but when it comes to bureaucracy driving stupid behavior one never knows.)

For what it's worth, my SA advised me they expect my car on 9/18. Currently, I also have the 10/2 date in TYD. Hopefully, that's a sign of hope. He also said they'd let me if the know if the date gets moved up.

My wife and I drove down to the port area today. The Porsche’s are behind a guard shack/gate and in an area contiguous with the Naval base. We talked to a guard and tried to get in but it was a non-starter (although he was very nice).
