There are definitely some discrepancies with the front lips. My 2022 Sport Design front lip - which is supposed to be the same as the AeroKit front lip - did not come with the black plastic lower spoiler seen on some of the AeroKit cars (..see attached image).
In looking around online, it seems as though the extra lower black addition should’ve been on my car as well, but it’s definitely not there as seen in the photos of my car below.
This earlier AeroKit car doesn’t have it either, so it much be a more recent change or maybe Porsche uses different parts:
I’m just trying to figure out the confirmed part number so I can add the black piece,
ltdodge, can you post a few photos of your lip installed from the side/underside?
Ive got an extra 2 piece lip that came from my aerokit spoiler order. I don’t have the aerokit sport design front bumper, just the regular version. I can confirm what I have is 1 lip that is painted in primer and a 2nd piece that is the black piece that should mount underneath the primered piece.
If someone can confirm that what I have will not fit my regular bumper, then I would be happy to sell you what I have.

It definitely won’t fit your regular bumper. It’s solely designed for the Sport Design bumper. I will buy it off of you should you decide to sell it.
I just wanted to update the thread to illustrate the differences in profile, protrusion, etc. between the Sport Design front lip and the AeroKit front lip.
I finally got around to removing the Sport Design lip today so I can take it to the paint shop along with the AeroKit lip. I figured I would take a close-up of the profile differences for you guys. The Sport Design lip on the left; primered AeroKit lip on the right. The black lower under spoiler is attached to the Sport Design front lip in the photo. The more aggressive/sportier black lower under spoiler is not attached to the AeroKit front lip in the photo. Based on my visual estimation, the combination of the AeroKit front lip’s lower profile, additional protrusion, along with the more aggressive/sportier black lower under spoiler, it reduces ground clearance by a tad more than an inch compared to the Sport Design front lip.
The second photo taken at a distance also illustrates how much more the AeroKit front lip protrudes (..AeroKit lip in front, Sport Design lip in back).
Hm, interesting. The front lip I have on my car w/SportDesign front bumper looks like the primered part you have, not the painted one. That painted piece looks like the standard bumper lips vs either the SportDesign/SPASM lip.

I assure you your Sport Design lip isn’t like an AeroKit lip. At a distance they look the same, but they are not. There are many details that are different. I, too, thought they were the same until two weeks ago, and I have owned my 992 with the Sport Design kit for 2 years.
Here are some bumper pics of ‘21 C2S with the sport design package. I put a small yellow piece of paper to show where the front lip connects to the bumper. I think I have the sport design lip you referenced. Strangely, I don’t have the second black lower lip that mounts underneath (see second picture)

Yes, that is the Sport Design lip and nearly flush black under spoiler. The black under spoiler for the AeroKit lip hangs down over an inch.
I guess not having the black under spoiler protruding is a good thing. I'll be installing my Bilstein EVO SE coilovers soon and will need the extra clearance. I don't have FAL.
I wonder if installing the second black under spoiler is a must. Perhaps skipping it is a better idea. Knowing I will scrape over time, I was thinking of eventually getting a back up spoiler and not installing that second black piece

Based on what I can tell, the black under spoiler isn’t a must since it merely snaps onto the actual lip and isn’t used as a mount point, but it does add stability and it adds protection.
Haha! My OCD wouldn’t allow me to have that lip sit around once delivered and not get it painted. I pick it up tomorrow afternoon and I’ll be back home sometime Sunday. I’ll install it that day and take updated photographs.
I also received updated wheel pics from HRE:
Powder coating the faces satin white gold, polishing the outer barrels and painting the inner barrels gloss black is the next phase.
A lot of the discussion surrounding the need for FAL suggests that one of the reasons that it's not worth the price is that the front bumper lip is cheap and easy to replace if damaged... However, in reading through this thread it seems to me that if the car has the Aerokit front bumper, the lip is not cheap nor simple to find in matte black. From the Suncoast website I found: https://www.suncoastparts.com/produc...92aerolip.html which is $725 and comes with primer only, so more when painted/wrapped. It would be another $700 if the other (lower) lip piece is necessary. I'm trying to make the final call on FAL for my T allocation (SPASM), and looking into this has tilted me towards FAL. Curious as to what others with the Aerokit think about FAL.
