Radiator Screens

My order arrived in under two days to the east coast. I have both sides and center section installed since I have sport design bumper and standard cruise control. Took about two hours total since I was very deliberate and reviewed the instructions and the video multiple times. Fits well and I like the look with the black screens.

This video was posted in another thread that shows, among other things, the operation of the motorized shutters in the standard front:
It shows the shutters gradually going from completely open at rest to completely closed at 70 kph and then re-opening completely at 170 kph, effectively cutting off all air flow in this range (is this really a good idea for heat management in this typical cruising range?). Of course, it also concerns me that there is no radiator protection above 170 kph due to the need for maximum air flow, but those are speeds at which you could really take a major ding. Seems like a poor design and a little over engineered to me--would much rather have no motorized shutters and just some radiator screens attached directly to the radiators since I like the design of the standard front and don't really want to see the screens. I guess us poor guys with the standard front are just out of luck.

Does the center screen install in front of the center eye for the adaptive cruise control? Does it interfere with cruise function? Can someone post a close up picture of installed center grill?
UPDATE : They sent me the wrong center grill piece. The correct part has a cutout in center top for the ACC eye. The ACC eye protrudes thru that cutout. Interesting that the videos and enclosed instruction showed part with the cutout. They sent me one with no cutout.

Even though standard bumper with active aero protects the rads part of the time, I'll be looking for a solution that can be mounted behind the moveable slats to protect all the time. I wasn't happy with the commercial offerings with my last 911, so built my own...may do that with the 992 as well.

I didn't love the zunnsports, and didn't want a bumper off install for the rennlines. I wound up buying a set I like for my 991.2 from these folks - https://www.customcargrills.com/Cust...che-Grills.asp . They don't have a 992 to measure from, but if you are in the Western Michigan area, consider contacting them for fitment / product development.

Resurrecting this thread, as I am shopping radiator screen options, and curious to know if anyone out there has seen another product besides the Zunsport that they would recommend?
I think the Zunsport looks good, but I am not interested in drilling anywhere in the center bumper to create a mounting point for a 3rd party product. I am considering just ordering the outside grills from Zunsport (the install for those looks less invasive, and that is the only area I would consider requires the protection that the grills are meant to provide), while leaving the center grill alone. Anyone out there gone this route, and if so, would you be willing to post a picture of your install?

I just put on Zunsports grills. See pic below.
There is only one screw per side on the sides, and 2 for the middle. They are tiny screws and if removed you would not see where they were, as they screw into a tab that is on your interior part of the intake holes. They are mostly held with click tabs, and the single screw is more for backup. I would also not want to have big holes in any part of my car, but when I got them and saw how small the screws were and where they go - as if removed, you would not notice unless you stick your head in the intake area or feel it with your finger.

It looks like Zensport sells the outer screens separately for the sport design package on eBay, so I may just go for that. Just looking to protect against a direct hit on the radiators, so I don't think the center screen will be necessary.
