absolutely! porsche san diego. Tripp was the sales person. they offer 10% off for their stocking 992. i checked and those options are not ideal for me.

they offer 5% for build. but i gave them my code and tell them I'm ready to place the order if they can do 6.5%. then deal is done. no hassle and everyone is happy

Awesome! The last Porsche I purchased was a 911 Turbo around 4 years ago from... Porsche of San Diego. I got a good discount and had it shipped to Alaska.

Yep! We have our own dealership up here and everything. Although they seem to mostly sell Cayenne and Macan SUV's.

I just ordered a C2S today with 6% discount. I negotiated the discount over text message before heading into the dealership to sign the order papers and leave a deposit.

What do you guys think I can reasonably ask for in terms of discounts for a 992 Targa 4S custom build?
Thank you!

OT, but I just met Tripp (I stopped by to say hello to a couple other folks). Nice guy. Just moved here from Chicago (I grew up outside of Chicago).

Does anyone have any suggestions on a dealer where I can order a new 992 and get a 6-9% discount? I definitely want to custom order. I'm on the East Coast but don't mind buying elsewhere for the right discount.

Just checked with my SA - it seems 992 allocations and inventory are down. The discounts are drying up....

ordered 2 weeks ago...best i got was 5% off. my preferred dealer who i purchased by gt3 from last month wouldn't budge a penny from MSRP. called two other dealers and one was 2.5% off and the other said no to 5% but later called me back and agreed so i went with 5%. Supposedly 5% is "aggressive" for this car due to no allocations, blah blah...

Really. Please post the name of the carrier, as I'm sure a lot of us would like to know who ships coast to coast in an enclosed trailer for $1,100. I've shipped a lot of cars, and never seen that. Was this Jimmy's Cousin trucking company?

Two weeks ago, I was looking nationally for a C4S and got a very well equipped one at 8.8% off MSRP. Had two other bids at just around 7.5% off from two other dealers.

Arrives on Friday!

Good luck!

Wow. That's crazy for a Carrera. It bears repeating that this is market dependent, of course. You must live in a fancy town.
