Just placed a deposit on this C2S Cabriolet, sight unseen - Didn't realise it had a brown roof as most of the pictures from the original ad were with the roof down. 150 miles on the clock and an 11% discount makes me think I can live with it
I pick it up next week - Hoping it grows on me - thoughts? (Pictures are from saleman's mobile phone so not great but gives you an idea..)

GT Silver is on the 991? Agree that there's a hint of brown vs. blue, especially in this picture. And I agree that Polar was much more blue.
I've never seen a picture of the cars side-by-side that allowed me to easily compare from this particular angle (I also haven't looked particularly hard, I'm sure there are thousands.) I prefer the front bumper cuts (under the headlights vs. through them) on the 992, although I prefer the more-rounded edges of the bonnet on the 991 (although I also think they would look out-of-place on the 992).
They're both great-looking cars.

Damn you! I was all set on ordering GT Silver with RS Spyder wheels and Truffle interior, but after seeing these pics, I second guessing my decision. I like that the wheels are more contrast on your car, where they would be more tonal on GT Silver. Do you have any more photos in different light? Thanks in advance.

thanks very much, it’s hard to spec wrong with this car based on what we’ve seen so far here!
The car is unbelievable. I’ve owned a few of the GT series cars over the years. This is my first foray into an entry level 911. It’s pretty surprising the level of comfort achieved with this car and the level of performance it has. For most of us, we would be hard pressed to notice the difference on the street vs. a GT car. Happy camper so far other than the silly gauge view!

I'm off to see mine at OPC Tewkesbury tomorrow (in advance of actually being able to physically pay for it in December!). I will therefore at long last be able to see whether I've ordered GT when I have been imagining Dolomite, or vice versa!

@NotanotherIMS The black and brown is really lovely - it was my reserve spec, albeit in a coupe with JBM exterior and Truffle interior.
I think it is a common misconception that black and brown dont work together.
