Mine has all the available performance options for a 2017 911 Carrera S including X51 PowerKit. The ride is quite comfy in PDCC "comfort" mode. IMO, the only folks who wouldn't want SPASM are those who would drive it thru the Winter, in the Snowbelt.

I assume Colorado qualifies and I ordered it. Year around DD for me. If we get a bad storm, I stay home or take the Mercedes.

I would like to see her a tad lower, but that would make the dune running harder..

So I also think stiffness gets a little bit mixed in with rebound when people are talking suspension setups here. I'll admit, Id like a little bit more work on the rebound with the 992, mine has the SPASM and have never really found it to be anything of a problem however, and the softer setting for sure takes that mainly away...oh, and that 10mm makes a mammoth difference to me as well, I'd never have a 911 without the sport suspension option, granted Id LOVE a major suspension upgrade to the GT cars which have a MUCH better rebound tune than the base cars do, which explains why some people like the GT rides better...

Maybe DSC sport will come out with a controller for the 992.

I like the aesthetic of the 10mm drop yet the Targa doesn’t offer the SPASM in the 992 format . I wonder why....and if I can simply order the springs and retrofit....but then again, I did order painted side skirts and sport design...so the car still might look ok...But any ideas or does anyone have knowledge to how I good mod the car-maybe some gets springs when that car is produced??

SPASM and PASM have different dampers, so there may be a mismatch in spring rate to the PASM dampers if you just pop in the SPASM springs. I'm not certain of that though.

KW HAS would be my preference for aftermarket springs given their reputation and the ability to adjust ride height and corner balance. Targa fitment is not specifically listed, but I don't see why it shouldn't work.

Indeed. I am certain that they are dear, but it is a zero compromise OEM+ solution.

I believe the KW HAS kit is also a no compromise approach, and is much cheaper.

The KW kit is just springs. Bilstein is a complete shock spring setup for front and rear. Well worth the >4K Euros. And it's completely compatible with the stock PASM controller. Bilstein is the OEM manufacturer of the 992 suspension.
