Rennline folding tow hooks
Rennline car mount fire extinguisher (some of the local HPDE groups require it)
Daytona Ultra Low Profile Floor Jack
Rennstand jack stands with Porsche pads
Flat 6 Jack Pads (just because; not sure I actually need them for anything)
FYI, the Daytona Ultra Low Profile with Rennstand and Porsche Pad fit under my GTS (with SPASM) on the floor (not the side skirts…but once I’m past the side skirts). I’ll do a separate thread later about why I went with floor jack and rennstands over quick jack and how it’s going for me.
Bought new rear tires. The original Goodyear Tires lasted 19,200 miles. Probably could have gotten another 800 miles and made it a round 20,000 miles, but I could barely feel the wear bars with my fingernail (horizontally) so there was a smidgen of tire left, but it wasn't much.
Anyhow, I went with the Continental Tires as replacements. I don't track the car and if I did, I sure wouldn't be on DOT approved tires anyway. For the street the 340 UTQG beats the 240 of the Goodyear Tires. If the adhesion is a bit less,I'm not going to explore those limits on the street, so I couldn't care less about that.
Two nice observations over the first 250 miles: 1.) These are much quieter than the Goodyear Tires. Very noticeable! and 2.) They're slightly more comfortable. The sidewalls are probably not as stiff. On an Auto-X course in particular this might well result in a less precise feel at turn-in. But see my comment above regarding tracking the car and yes I do consider an Auto-X (if you want to be competitive) to require the appropriate tires. These are not them.
So the numbers and what they mean for my originals and what I bought follow:
305/30ZR-21 Continental Extreme Contact Sport 02 XL
My cost for two tires delivered: $789.98
Speed Rating: 104Y (1,984 lbs 186 mph)
UTQG: 340 AA A
340 = 27,200 Miles (estimate), AA = Traction: Asphalt 0.54g, Concrete 0.38g, A = Temperature Grade: Over 115 mph
305/30ZR-21 Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3
Published cost for two tires delivered: $899.14
Speed rating: 95Y (1,521 lbs 186 mph)
UTQG: 240 AA A
240 = 19,200 Miles, AA = Traction: Asphalt 0.54g, Concrete 0.38g, A = Temperature Grade: Over 115 mph
Yes, they're a long way from being worn out with 6/32" remaining. They're 10/32" when new. At least the front GY's are. The rear GY's start at 8/32". So anyhow farmer math says roughly 50% tread life remaining on my original Front GY's.

New tires will be quieter than old/worn out tires.
Not an issue to run new ones in the back and used in the front, as long as there is enough thread. But mixing brands/models is not a good idea on a high performance car. Advisable to swap out the fronts with a matching set when you can.
