is the aluminum “look” cap just painted plastic or is it metal? Love the way it looks but never seen in person.
AFAICT it’s just painted, but it still has much more weight to it than the plastic cap. I thought it might be a silly mod at first, but I actually dig it.
Pardon me asking. But what are we looking at? What are bumper plugs?
Look bottom left and right of the exhaust just under the Bumper. There once was a red reflector (about 8 inches long where the black bumper starts at the top where it meets the paint. Those came out and replaced with paint matching "plugs" rather than the bright red reflectors.
You can do them in any color (most do satin black which match the bumper color. Looks like a few of us did body paint matching. Here is a side pic as well.

cars such as ours really benefit from a proper performance tire which means cold weather performance will suffer. I drive all my 911’s all year long , no summer only garage queens for me. But it also means I have separate sets of wheels with dedicated winter tires. Expensive and a PITA but I much prefer to all season. That’s just me.

Did you actually attach the strap to the cap or is it just tucked in somewhere? I didn't see a spot to attach it, so I just removed it from the door entirely.
