yeah, my son reacted the same but they are save. Used one of these quick hook rack systems bolted into studs with hooks that go around the wheel racks. To be honest, I have more OCD about the fire sprinkler system on ceiling above the car.

the car. I don't have enough space to completely isolate it however so it is just another thing on my list of crazy making situations.
I all stems back to a the first fully new (months old) car I owned. I was using a hammer approximately 15-20 feet away from the car.
On one back swing the head came off the hammer and landed square on the hood leaving a nice dent in the middle and some
scratches as it slid off.
Since then the only work that can be done in my shop with ANY car inside is work on that specific car.....all others are moved to the driveway.
The only exception is when I am changing the oil (or some other similar maintenance) on 2 cars at once.

No kidding mine as well. I don't even like things stored on shelves that might fall off and break off a part that might shoot towards
the car. I don't have enough space to completely isolate it however so it is just another thing on my list of crazy making situations.

My wife still quotes the expletive laden sentence she heard from inside the house and 2 floors away
while she was changing the diaper on our youngest child.....and that was 24 years ago.
Note that she did NOT come to see if I was hurt/dead....whatever.
She now always asks if I am going to pull her car out whenever I head for the garage to do some work
or if she should do it for me.
A few years later that same child later dragged the end of the handlebars of his bike down the side of that same car
leaving a 2 foot long scratch in the door.
We got to have a father/son talk about getting things out of the way. And we spent multiple hours moving the bike
storage area from the back of the garage to right near the door.

Can't believe this thread was relegated to the third page.
Before
After. Not bad for $200 something and some time. Used vinyl wrap. Now to fix some drywall.
Carbon wheel from ebay. Jiang is the seller. STAY AWAY. JANKY AF. Supposed to be heated but does not work. Assembly required tedious trimming. Looks and feels great though.
