Well despite the GTS doesn't arrive at my house on Wed, it didn't stop my wife from ordering accessories for it. Key blades, I didn't order from the factory, valve stems to match the center lock wheels, and of course a trivia book
Would definitely entertain one that says "like a regular guy, only poorer."
Something a little different...a nice home for my documents, maintenance records, paperwork, etc. Custom debossed and alcantara lined to match the car. I joke that I commissioned this for the next owner if I ever do sell the 911.

Today bought...well previously purchased but took delivery and executed full oil change on my 992 with one FCP Euro Oil change kit! Got pick set from Amazon.com which helped with the oil ring removal from the filter cover. Race Ramps already owned by me. Autel MK808S was helpful and worked like a charm to both do Service Indicator reset for maintenance light/indicator and also oil service reset. Just needed to update most recent Porsche updates to the device/app. BMC Air filters previously installed and cleared/serviced also. Car is good to go for rest of spring/summer/fall 2024 with some $$ and downtime at the dealership saved! FCP Euro oil change kit. Quick/prompt shipping and good price.
Amazon.com pick set makes O ring removal simple and easy from Oil Filter housing.
Race Ramps help with incline of drive and oil drainage Complicated yes...fan assembly easy to remove...plug n play basically to get to filter assembly.
Black gold...oil was a bit more dirty than I expected. Last change was Nov 2022 and car was in storage Nov 2023 thru Mar 2024 so a bit overdue.
Out with the old [filter] in with the new [filter]...and O ring. First fill and check...almost.
Autel MK808S is a godsend. Works like a charm. Just keep yours updated and will pay for itself. After 6.5L still needed a bit more. Miss those dipstick days...YES!!
You need 8.2 L (for the 992) and time for it to settle as you slowly add to get an accurate and correct measurement.
Also oil needs to be at op temp before draining to ensure a minimum of coating left behind when doing so.
I have been looking for the right size sun visor vinyl cover ups. For a couple of cheap ones from Amazon and there were more like thick 2 mm thickness for patching leather in shoes. Not very happy with the thickness. One of the pics shows what I mean from the older layer I yanked out.
the final one I got from eBay is pricy at 13$ and it’s perfect thickness. It’s got a wet application like decals which actually is great to manage and adjust. Am happy with it now and it’s hardly noticeable. It’s custom cut to Porsche warning dimensions . get the decal
vinyl thickness not the patching one.
while posting I realized I don’t have pics in the light. Let me pull the car out tomorrow and get some pics. It’s pretty unnoticeable (guess that’s what we want anyways).
