What did you buy your 992 today thread

i have the RGS installed on mine, i just dont like the screw or the pattern of the ZunSport, seems like everyone got scared of the RGS install when the center bar offered the slightest amount of resistance and 90% of the people decided they didnt want to break anything as opposed to just pulling slightly harder on the piece. I'll take zip ties over random screws all day.

I have owned both. You answer your own question…..the RGS screens are, in fact, cheaper in price because it uses cheaper one piece materials. The Zunsports use a heavier gauge stainless steel wire so offer better protection. Plus the attachment method for the Zunsports is stronger because it mounts on the outside with screws. This results in a substantially stronger screen with better protection than my RGS screens did which were mounted inboard with only zip ties for retention Think of your house- a door that opens out is substantially stronger than a door that opens in because of the door frame is on the inside and further supports the door that opens out. But, you are correct that the Zunsports cost more than the RGS……..but for a reason. The RGS screens are substantially cheaper than the Zunsports. But, you get what you pay for.

For radiator covers, everyone’s review indicate that zunsport and RGS make great products, I myself couldn’t justify paying $300 for 3 sqft of mesh.
I went with a $60 option from custom car grills and I’m very happy with them. Precut to size, installs snug with 1 zip tie, without removing the bumper all in under 10 minutes total.
For my daily driving on VA road I’m most worried about smaller pebbles and road debris, and the ones I have seem more than enough to protect the equipment that Porsche didn’t feel needs to be protected in the first place.

When is Porsche of SA moving to their new building?
#3337
Brandon says the end of next month. I drive by the new building every weekday and it is looking almost done. I think they are doing a grand opening and inviting folks down to break it in. From the outside it looks like it’s filled with desks and no showroom but I’m only able to get a quick glance. At 0530 there is a private security car out front and most of the outside lights are off so it’s hard to see how much nicer it will be.

Well, didn’t end up going with the F150 spec GT3 style wheels you commented on above, but after a 2 month wait, I think Augment Wheel Co. did a very good job on their custom forged 20”/21” setup. Couldn’t ask for a much better wheel on this car, in my opinion. I think they did a great job on the center 5 lug section as well.
They delivered today, so ran them to the tire shop and slapped some tires on them, and installed a few hours ago.
It’s hard to get the angle just right for pictures with the outdoor lighting, but in person, the bends of the GT3 spokes are well pronounced and look gorgeous.
Factory GT3RS vs AWC 992S
I think the AWC actually looks better because the 5-lug hub area allows the spokes to protrude further, making them look longer.
LMAO
(the exact opposite of the ugly wheels posted above).

Very nice. I've purchased several from them. How did you get this image put on and where did you get the Carrera T lettering and car image?
