Busy week. Upgrade 1 of 2 - Akrapovic Titanium exhaust:

At first, I was a bit unimpressed with the Akrapovic. It did not feel like it was worth the hefty price tag. However, after a few days of driving I am liking it more and more.
Cold start is significantly louder and about as loud as I would ever want to go - perfect. (Adding sport cats would definitely put it into the obnoxious category for me)
Warmed up and driving aggressively, definitely sounds way more spirited and how the PSE should have been from factory
About ~25-35% louder than PSE as others have subjectively estimated
Burbles in Sport Mode are much more audible
There is unfortunately a bit of droning in Sports Mode when cruising below highway speeds
The PSE button still works (I can see and hear the flap actuating), but is very minimal, if any at all, difference when driving
Please let us know whether the AWE foilers are worth 100 bucks. From the video, not convinced it does for the money.

I have them since a few months now and they sure improve it, not entirely remove it though. But I now can keep my window open at city speed w/o excessive buffeting.

Hey man...had them on my 991.1 and they made a huge difference and IMHO were the much better blended option than the BLACKMIL (or something similar sounding) product that were avail for that model for the same purpose. Without them above about 30-40mph with window open you would get his harmonic vibration with associated sound that was painful and distracting....with them about 80-90% decrease in that in the car.
Was so impressed that it was one of my 1st updates to my 992 when I got it....along with my Akrapovic exhaust...that was the FIRST thing I got...even before the car arrived! LOL. Hope that helps my friend.

Very similar story here. I had the CF version on my 991.1 when they were first released because being on track with the windows open was really uncomfortable. The foiler made a huge difference.

Made me wonder why Porsche does not have that on each car out of the factory. Its pennies difference at best...or just a different mold for the OEM version of that little triangle. Makes such a huge improvement and was an issue before 992.
