For those thinking of ordering KW or HAS kit...

I recently placed an order with World Motorsports @Staff@WORLD for a KW HAS kit. I was visiting with my folks in AZ when I placed the order and I put their address for delivery. I didn't receive a tracking number and after a few days and no show, I called to check. A mistake was made processing my order and I was now running out of time. The owner upgraded me to the TechArt HAS kit (made by KW but $150 more) and shipped the springs overnight so I could get them before my departure. I offered to pay for the upgrade or the overnight shipping but he refused. He was very kind, apologetic, and all around a good guy who did what it took to make things right. I rarely make recommendations but I very much appreciate when people go out of their way and price being equal, please consider buying from this seller. No affiliation whatsoever.

Please. Many of us would love to know. My estimate is ~25lib savings with the factory rear seat delete (including seat belt mechanisms).

I saw 15# weight savings somewhere and have not been able to locate that thread. The seats are tiny, I can't imagine they're even 15#

I can see 15lbs without seatbelt mechanisms, but those mechanisms aren't light.

I want to see how it feels in the CGTS first, because I happen to really like the look of the shifter in the T. The dark colors are cool looking to me. But then again, any chance to bring more green into the mix is a good thing! LOL.

Look at Scott's shifter, as he did it to match the green interior. My order was for my Cayman, so it's different.

Are you cutting out the LATCH connecters and the center seat locator bracket?

At this point I'm not planning on cutting any metal unless absolutely necessary. I'll find out when I start the install in earnest (probably next weekend).

My new Shark Fins arrived

Now I have to find a reputable installer. I don’t want to do an amateur job with £200 OEM decals.
