You can see how snug it is on the sides. As for the top/bottom, it is also snug except for those two bulges, where the rubber hasn't regained its form.

What's the part number for the insert in place of the cupholder, and does it fit an bare iPhone 13 (non-max)? SA selected smoking package because you get a free tray, but I don't have that insert?

 

Im not sure on the part number. My car came with a cup holder and that one in the glove box. I prefer this one because it will fit a yeti tumbler. Maybe later I can check the bottom of it for a part number. My iPhone 14 Pro with case fits in it so I think your 13 should be fine.
