Yep, those gloss black wheels are rubbish and should be replaced with nice silver ones

The car at the top of this topic is always my 992 without skirts and strips and with the original lip in crayon

Nice racing stripes - looks great! Too bad about those lazy poser black wheels. :P

Would love to see more pix of your ride ..

I prefer black wheels with chalk. The more black the better when it comes to chalk.

That said, I would not get solid black wheels without PCCBs. Brake dust makes them look a particularly awful brown color.

I chose the RS Spyder wheels on my Chalk 992 Carrera.S manual. Think they do a good job vs black on chalk others have chosen.

I went with satin black ED. Couldn't be happier with my choice. I don't think glossy black works as there is so much matte black plastic all around the car, unless you go with a 10k plus glossy black aero kit plus all the other bits and pieces like mirror/porsche logo etc in glossy black.

I was on the fence as the Exclusive with Satin (or Gloss) looks phenomenal. I don't care for them without the depth of the black accents (but I also do not like black wheels - though to me these are not black wheels, they are silver with black accents which look great). And I was somewhat on the fence - originally replacing my 997 Midnight Blue with the same color, then opting for Gentian Blue and finally settling on Gentian after toying with Aventurine and Chalk. I think if I went White or Chalk or Agate, I would do the ED with Satin. But I really like the Gentian with the Classics. And that surprised me. But I like how they looked in the sun. I have a little bit of time left to change my build but for now am Gentian and Classics.

IMHO the best wheel setup like I said for Chalk or White is the ED with some version of the Black accents. It makes the wheel pop.

Another lazy poseur here with Satin black wheels and snow tires on Chalk. Currently at 5,300 posing miles...

Love it. Mine will look almost exactly the same except as a Targa. Waiting for port processing to be complete and start the final leg home.

The good news is that changing color is easy and relatively inexpensive. Get what you want and change the color if you want a different look down the road.
