992 crayon - black wheels or not?

Hate the satin black wheels on my RS... get the top picture, such a happier look, classy too looks like the 50th edition 911 ... just gorgeous... DO IT!!!

Top pic looks better but the bottom is not bad. At least you aren’t considering gold like all the rest, that’s fugly. Colors are really subjective, I wouldn’t own half the combos on here so just buy what you like and who cares what others think.

I think all the wheels likely look fine on chalk, but it’s such an interesting color I think it puts a little pressure on you to nail the wheels too...
...definitely check out the wheels in person. I got very different impressions of most of them when I saw them in person.

I prefer the first of the two photos in the OP. Classier imo. Black wheels are a bit too "gangsta" for me. But, then, I had my bright silver alloys re-finished in satin platinum which, for me, is the best combination.

Lazy poser here prefers black wheels but also recognizes that not everyone does. I also try to not come across as a self absorbed tool when giving my opinion, which is worth how much?
Wait for it......
ZERO!
Cheers.

Man, it never fails to amaze me how one dude asking another's opinion on color more often than not results in a dick-size contest breaking out.
So if black wheels are for poseurs who are too lazy to wash their cars, while silver wheels are for classy, educated gentlemen who prefer the shiny things in life, what about Satin Platinum? Or -- God forbid -- BODY-COLORED Chalk wheels? (Cue another "Miami Vice" reference.)
To address the OP's question: I like 'em both. Buy what you want. At this price point, what others say is irrelevant.

Avoids the "empty hole" look of the black and doesn't risk blinding cross traffic with reflections.

Black wheels don't look bad if done right but it'd never be my primary choice. The issue with black wheels is that it hides all the beautiful shape and details of the wheels. From a distance especially when rolling, it just looks like a blob of darkness almost like huge hubcaps

I have also sport design packet with the front lip matt black and sport design skirts matt black.
the strips are the old ones bought for my previous 991.2 targa gts and neve e used.
I mounted by myself. Very easy. The shape is perfect also for 992.
the new strips for 992 are not so good in my opinion
