How do you know you went into production 5 days late if the dates in TYD don’t update? Did the “production has started” stage date update when they also updated the completion date to 4/12?
I agree with the delays at the port, it’s been well documented that Emden is a complete mess. I actually asked a friend of mine in Munich to see if he can search to see what is going on there. Hopefully since he’s in Germany he can get some information online that is more local to Germany that we aren’t finding on websites in English - nothing back from him yet.
Just so no one thinks I’m flying blind, I fully expect there will be delays at some point - I’m just trying to understand the progression of the builds that are happening just ahead of me so I know what to expect.
We’re all in the same boat of just wanting our cars after long waits to get an allocation, and hoping production/shipping delays are getting better and not worse.
Best of luck to everyone, I can’t wait to see the pictures of all the cars as they get delivered!
Yes, when TYD updated yesterday to show scheduled completion of 4-12 the start date updated from 3-8 to 3-13. Prior to that the stage moved to 4 on 3-13 but the start date still said 3-8. Photos appeared on 3-16
Holy crap. FOUR MONTH wait at Emden. That’s insane!
Yeah, all said and done it'll end up being 6.5 months from the time the car was completed until it shows up at the dealer, assuming no more delays. There's got to be something else going on with this car to account for these insane delays.
Sorry to hear that. Mine arrived in Emden on 2/1 and left Emden on 2/6 (must have been good timing . . . ). It has since arrived at Port of Jacksonville, FL on 2/27 and is scheduled to be at PECATL on 3/27. To be honest, not sure why so long at Jacksonville. I'm having PPF and Ceramic applied there, but you'd think that would only take 2 or 3 weeks. So far so good.

That's crazy, damage or something else had to have happened
Speaking of delays, did anyone else get three months of time in Emden added overnight?
Wow! Mine is at 6 and was supposed to go to step 7 today. That got delayed until next week the 27th. I’m sure my/the rest of our delays will soon show up as well.

Yikes!! I did see someone here on the forum post a similar crazy delay in the last day or so. I don’t recall if it was in the GT3 or turbo or 718 boards (been scouring everywhere looking for info on other delays I have lost track).
my schedule still looks like this… nothing has changed so I’m just waiting for the next delay hammer to drop.

I hope you don't get any delays add to your timeline but your step 6 still being your latest step reminds me of my car before they said it was im France and then at port. So, don't be surprised if you have an added delay of another few weeks.

Yeah, exactly. Honestly, I will be surprised if I do not have more delay.
All of his unknown will hopefully come to a conclusion in the next 7 days as those two potential ships will have hopefully been loaded and in route to San Diego by then. One can only hope that both yours and my TYD dates then suddenly flip to be accurate or at the very least if TYD stays wonky, then our respective dealers tracking will show things have ben corrected. Fingers crossed for you and me (and anyone else that may be experiencing this).
