Official waiting room for those with a new 992 on order --- come on in !!
I count 8 dealers in Mexico. I guess they could transport cars from San Diego, but Lazaro Cardenas is the largest port in Mexico, so why not use it? Maybe it wasn't a great idea when the port was controlled by drug cartels, but the MX Navy kicked them out in 2014.
I'm fairly certain that the Phoenix Leader is headed to Emden as well. It has west coast destinations.
Yep, it should be headed directly to Emden in the next day or so. And bonus, it is hitting Emden before Bremerhaven. So it should load up mostly with cars at Emden. Whereas the boats often stop in Bremerhaven first and load up with other cars. Leaving not much room for Emden cars. It is somewhat surprising how few boats end up going to the west coast. After Phoenix Leader and RCC Compass, it's gonna be a while. Let's hope we get on it. My car as been at Emden port since the 3/6.
For those awaiting their new family member via the Glovis Sunrise, the ship is 8 days out from the Panama Canal. My SA contacted me over the weekend to inform me that everything is on schedule and that my car will arrive at the dealer on 4/21. There is still so much to do to get the garage ready. My wife says I'm nesting... haha...
Where is your dealer?
Go to https://stenaglovis.com/customer-centre/schedules/ and check the “Americas” schedule
Did anybody else get an update on TYD this morning? They're reporting my car is in Emden but somehow also has a checkmark next to almost all the steps even though most have no dates. To paraphrase George Costanza, "it's a step skippah"

PL's scheduled ETA in SD 4/19. Lines right up with my dealer's schedule and TYD vs the RCC Compass itinerary. I guess we will soon find out...
Good to see you got an update. I bet check marks just error. Perhaps that tracking through France must have been on its way to the port. No updates on my TYD yet. Still shows I was to be in port March 9 grayed out. Other dates still holding to basically align with the recently reported Pheonix Leader ship thats supposedly is heading to SD. We should all know more soon.
And now the delays start...
Originally was supposed to be completed yesterday. TYD just updated and is showing scheduled completion as 4-12.
Got the picture of the car on the lift, so not sure what happened...
