I’m officially waiting now! Order placed for GTS cab in December. Allocation and TYD email 11 weeks later. June 8 delivery. That would make it 6 months overall if it pans out. First 911. 4th Porsche. https://configurator.porsche.com/porsche-code/PP8GX7F3

Pretty sure TYD doesn’t report true ship location

In your case, if your map is showing the car also near the port, then its still in a hold lot and not processed through. Thus your past date of step 6 is correct (showing red) and step 7 is still gray (with the new March 14 date) even though the car is sitting right near the port. Hopefully this thought process I am trying to convey makes some kind of sense, haha.

I "think" whats happening here when looking at TYD step 6 and step 7 is that step 6 will turn red when the car is has either left the factory or is sitting in a hold lot outside the factory (could be on the factory property or right near the port). In my case my map is showing my car to be right near the port (probably in a holding lot) but since step 7 is still gray I don't think its considered "at the port" until its processed through and ready to be ship loaded (likely a different lot). Then it would turn step 7 red in TYD. My step 7 and step 8 have the same date (March 9) which lines up with then the Glovis Sunrise ship. If my theory is correct, step 7 and step 8 (in my case) will change to red at or nearly the same time around that March 9 date when the car is processed through and then loaded.

I've been hoping this is the case because it at least gives me a shot of the car getting on the Glovis Sunrise. The current date I have for leaving the port (3/20) would have the car missing the ship but on the other hand, the previous date I had for that step would have put the car on the Dong A Glaucos so I'm not so sure the dates in the future are much more than just placeholders.

Yup, TYD shows my car as near the port.

Well we will know soon. I went through all kinds of delays when I ordered my 2021 Macan GTS so I was expecting this 992 experience to be filled with them, so far I feel really lucky as everything has been right on schedule. Our cars are sitting somewhere near that port together so hopefully my luck continues and takes your car along with it. 🤞
