Default TYD More Closely

Apologies if this has been posted before but I could not find it. It appears possible to get more than just pictures from the My Porsche hack posted in the YouTube video:

I have found that if you dig around long enough, you can get what appears to be more accurate build status, maybe even the exact location of you car shown by longitude and latitude, and possible delays.

I do think you need to have a VIN for this to work.

1. Following the instructions in the video to see if you have pictures.
2. After that, click Track your Dream on the left.
3. Make sure you also have clicked Network on the right side like shown in the YouTube video.
4. Click through any Porsche disclaimers on the left side.
5. On the right side, click Preview in the middle on the right -- you have choice of Header, Preview and Response.
6. Scroll down on the right side until you find your VIN--for me, there were at least 10 lines with my VIN listed -- two sets of 5. If you click on each line with your VIN on it, one of them will show you a list of 13 stages or "positions" on the right or 7 "positions" of location information.
7. Click each position, starting from 1 to see how far your car has gotten in the process and its exact coordinates.

For example, for my build, position 4 of 13 shows the following:
  1. actualDate: ""
  2. currentStatus: "Production Completed"
  3. expectedDate: "2022-09-02"
  4. expectedDays: 0
  5. icon: "factory"
  6. isActive: false
  7. isMilestone: true
  8. isReached: true
  9. location: "IPR"
  10. locationDescription: ["Zuffenhausen"]
  11. milestone: "Production Completed - CP8.0"
  12. position: 5
  13. status: "V300"
This shows that my build is complete, which is more accurate than my dealer and TYD (assuming its correct).

Another VIN line click shows the location of my car as follows:
  1. coordinates: [48.855012, 9.164785]
  2. icon: "staging"
  3. isActive: true
Plugging these coordinates into Google Maps, I can see that my car is at a staging area out of the factory near the rail yard.

Hope this is helpful in finding how far your car is.

Open the My Porsche site on a PC. Log in and go to the page for your build. Don’t open track your dream. Right click and select inspect. Pick network from the right. Refresh browser. To see pictures scroll down on list of files until you get to orders. Click on that and then click on the file shown on right. Scroll down to images and if there are pictures, copy the url into a browser to see them.

If you want to see the other info, then click on track your dream on left side and follow instructions above.

Just tried this, and while the status was the same as the standard TYD page for me, it does give you much more detailed information. If this is synced with the dealers system (which it seems to be based on the fact you can see actual status codes) this might negate the need to bug the dealer about your build progress.

I am now V300 and production was completed yesterday.
Am now outside the factory and Porsche Werk 12, Bau M10 near the railyard.

Can someone show me how to access photos?
I have yet to come across any "images"
while hacking.

Thanks!

I'm also in Porsche Werk 12, Bau M10 awaiting European Delivery in January. My car completed on 10/25 and I received a production photo on 10/28. On 10/31, I went back to discover current phase 2 and lost my production photo. I'm hoping the website updated back to phase 3 soon with remaining production photos but who knows how long I will have to wait. The hack above doesn't work, you just have to wait until Porsche updates you to phase 3.

Based on historical guidance, any idea how long the cars stays in a state "Your vehicle is now scheduled for production"? My build finally froze about a couple of weeks ago, but have not seen any movements on TYD since then (in fact it is down for me today). FWIW, build includes PtS & CXX.

I'm in transit to Emden.
But the last 2 days I have been unable to obtain any "info" from hacking TYD.
Whenever I click on my VIN numbers there is a "failure to load" info on every single one of them.

I am a technology noob and am really struggling with getting this to work. i do step 3 below, but don’t see any disclaimers as mentioned in step 4. Not sure where i need to scroll to get to vin numbers. Does any one have screen shot of steps 4 to 6? I will really appreciate it. like many others my tyd has gone to showing no dates. as it turns out, tracking dream is really hard.

But the hack isnt working. I'm not able to get the app to load any info, status, or coordinates in the right side window.

EDIT: The hack hasnt been able to work all week long. The "Preview" box does not populate or load with any info when clicking on your VIN numbers.
