It’s been a long time coming and finally here. Order demand placed 11/21, my 992 Targa GTS in PTS China Grey was finally delivered 10/26/22

Finally getting closer to the end of the journey. The car is in Emden waiting for a boat. I also wanted to share a quick thanks to the Rennlist community. I have learned a lot through through these forums, and very much appreciate the knowledge sharing (especially siberian, tobeit, John Mclane, 991.1 Guy, detansinn, 3rdpedal, ... lots of others...)

I've received 12 TYD "Welcome" emails in the last 7-8ish days. I lock in 11 days from today and TYD has been set up for months. My SA says everything good and each time I check my build has not changed. Thinking just a glitch but it's annoying.

First, congrats on your upcoming car! Second, wholeheartedly agree with your sentiment, for I have also learned a lot in my short time here and am grateful. Third, TYD stinks-agreed. Fourth, I'm gonna quit looking at it with any kind of expectation because every time it lets me down I get aggravated. I've learned I'm much better off just talking to my SA, cause he rocks. And ya know what, and I never do anything like this but I'm in a goofy mood. For anyone who is considering buying a Porsche, call Porsche of Woodland Hills and ask for Carl. They're out in Los Angeles and they are amazing. Doesn't matter what part of the Country you're in, they'll make it work. I couldn't ask for anything better. Don't know about Service & Parts because I live in Florida, but for new & used sales, they're Aces.
P.s. I get nothing out of saying that in case anyone is wondering. My deal is done. Just refreshing to do business with competent people and wanted to say it out loud.
My car finished production Oct 25th and received my first picture this afternoon. I was delighted to receive my first production photo under the 'body construction' section. When I click right I only get stock images for 'Paint Shop, Engine Manufacturing, Upholstery shop, and Vehicle Assembly'. Do people usually receive all production pictures at once or do they slowly but steadily get uploaded? Do the stock photos get replaced with the actual production photos? If not, where do the other photos show?

I can see my VIN under Discover Current Phase and showed Scheduled for Production earlier today. Now back to Order Created and get Service Unavailable when I go to TYD. It is very annoying.

My car finished production September 28th and I got 3 pictures at once. Then they went away, now 2 are back on TYD. That stupid program changes more than I change shoes. Hang tough.
Also only received one photo and was hoping for more!
She was completed Oct 14, been at Emden since Oct 18 w target on vessel date to San Diego Nov 4 (was delayed once already, and she arrived at Emden Oct 18). Target dealer date now Dec 9 (was Nov 11 & Nov 25)

Good to know it’s not just me. It’s been two emails a day for like a week and a half. And yeah, I look every single time to see if something has changed on the build sheet or build dates and it’s never the case. Hopefully that’ll get sorted out.
I’m curious how you scored an actual photo of your car during the build. I have a 2023 992S that is done and enroute to the port for transport and I would love to have photos of it being built.

I got my photos in Track Your Dream when the car reached Emden
