Mines on Glovis Sunlight after over a month at port...Anyone else on this boat to California?
Also, any way to track it over the Atlantic without paying the precision tracking subscription?
Yup, I missed the Glovis Sun by 2 days in late June so it was there 5 - 6 weeks. Happy to be on the Sunlight with offloading in Benicia 1st part of Sept. Only one ship to Benicia a month vs about 10 to the East Coast.
Starting to seem more real now.
My car is on Glovis too. Here is what TYD shows for delivery. Not sure how to track over the Atlantic.
Interesting. Mine has the same day of arrival 9/9, but is still at the port and not on a boat yet. A few days ago the estimated arrival was 8/29. I am very skeptical of my 9/9 arrival. At least my car is only going to RI on the East Coast so the trip is much shorter.
Go to MarineTraffic.com and search for the vessel name. Tons of info, including position, eta, etc. available for the vessel.
Thanks. Tried multiple sites, and they no longer seem to give real-time location or at least over the ocean. You need to subscribe to see latest ie the position location is stale.

They lose signal when in the middle of the Atlantic. Just give it a few days and it will pop up near one of the islands on the way or at the port in Santa Marta. Use the route forecast tab to see where it will go, its nothing like the picture shown on the TYD app which shows East Coast ports. Its going straight to Panama.
Here is also a new schedule for San Diego and Benica, though I am not sure if it is going through Emden.
glovis sunlight schedule looks wrong. It’s on its way to Santa Marta right now and should arrive on 8/14. Then should hit San Diego and Benecia end of month. No way it makes it back to Emden on 8/31.
Does Porsche use only the same ships each time, or different ships on the same route? I'm looking at Hyundai Glovis, and I see Platinum Ray - I've never seen anyone mention this ship on Rennlist before, but it does seem to be going from Emden to Benicia. Thank you for clarifying.
