Vehicle moved to production today. Looking forward to a late December delivery. Wanted to ask those of you who have experienced this process, what would be the estimated actual delivery date? System shows as Week 2 2020, but my SA says it will be available by Week 50 2019.
Finally got my 992, after waiting for CARB (Calif. Air Resources Board) to release vehicles for sale in CA. Love the Gentian Blue! ("Gentian" is an herb with a blue flower, FYI.) Got Sport Chrono, Lane Change Assist, Premium Package, Bose audio. (Bose system has been greatly improved over 991s....but NO AM radio!...can you believe it?) I'm impressed with the car. A perfect blend of performance and DD comfort. SO glad they added more sound insulation to minimize tire noise, and PASM is very effective at producing good ride quality without compromising handling. Overall, a great car! Color of interior looks a lot better than it did on the website, IMHO....

Very nice build. Makes me wanna change my color from GT silver to this spec. Did you also get SPASM? The car looks planted - but don’t see the black lip on the front. More pics appreciated!
I just got the "standard" PASM...not the Sport PASM. Black lip on front? I didn't order that, maybe it's part of another package?
It's about time Porsche had a nice blue color! Gentian Blue is deep, rich, and classy. Not like the "almost-black" Night Blue from the 991. You can tell it's blue even in the shade. It's beautiful....
Thank you! Previous 911 was 2015 in white. I was seriously considering just upgrading to a 991.2, but couldn't convince myself that I liked the Nigh Blue Metallic color. Then I saw the 992 in Gentian Blue at the LA Auto Show....that sold me!

Great car, can't wait to get mine in December.
Looks like analog AM radio is not supported. The "Good to Know" app lists the following:
"The PCM additionally receives digital programs from HD Radio stations in FM/AM band provided that the function HD Radio content is switched on."
I'm not sure how many AM stations have adopted HD Radio broadcast format. Guess we will find out...
I enabled "HD Content" on the PCM, but still don't see AM-HD listed anywhere as an option. Weird. It could be that no AM-HD content is receivable when the car is in my garage. I'll try later when I'm on the road. It could also be a software error, or software that hasn't been loaded yet. Though it makes no sense that AM-HD would be supported, but analog AM would not. The AM analog signal has to be demodulated before the HD data can be decoded, so analog AM is required for AM-HD to function. (FYI, I'm a broadcast engineer!) If analog AM is not receivable, I suspect that Porsche will get a ton of complaints!
Yeah, I think it's a software issue. I can't believe any car or radio manufacturer would omit AM radio, lowly as it may be! We'll see. Hey...if this is the only glitch from getting a new model, I won't complain too much!

My Tesla Model X doesn't support AM radio either and I do miss it.

I think it's a liberal plot to keep me from listening to Rush Limbaugh. Tesla does not support AM due to electric motor interference. Porsche may be doing the same anticipating hybrid drive in the 911 and other models that share the same PCM.
