My turn to join the wait. First time buying a new Porsche. Asked for allocation for a 992 GTS Cabriolet and placed refundable deposit on DEC 9, 2021. Received allocation last week for April build (expected to finalized May 2). Delivery end June/early July. http://www.porsche-code.com/PN9X68F6
Im so bored waiting for an allocation that I bought a different toy to enjoy while I wait. Big change of pace for me but I figure the days of big American V8s are numbered and wanted to reward jeep for making such an absurd and nonsensical vehicle
Mine is scheduled to load on vessel 1/21. Anybody with knowledge on how to figure out vessel name? Will TYD update with name once loaded?
I found this shipping schedule for Jan 2022 in a different subform. It might help you figure out the ship you'll be on. I think TYD should update with the ship once it is on board, but you never know.

THANK YOU!!! I’ve been looking for an updated sheet for ages. My car is due to ship according to TYD on 1/28 so I’m guessing (and hoping) that’s on Supreme Ace. On the way to Napelton Porsche via Baltimore. Hoping to have it in time to bring it to PCA’s Werks Reunion on March 4th in Amelia Island.

Odd, here is another shipping schedule that shows a different ship from Emden to West Coast US at the end of January, as an example.
One shows Grand Hero departing 27-Jan, the other shows Glovis Sonic departing 31-Jan.

I checked NYK LINE that manages Dionysos leader and even their schedule has that vessel being in Emden Jan 19 (list says Jan 20)
My TYD is showing an estimated Vessel load date of 1/28 and I am presuming it is going to the East Coast as the dealership is in Chicago. The only vessel I see leaving Emden on that date does not show a Stop on the East Coast? I guess we will see. Just took another look, the vessel is stopping in Rhode Island Feb 7th. Maybe that is the port of entry.

I'm new to the Forum as I just traded in my 2019 Carrera T and ordered a GTS Coupe, with rear seat delete, manual and in Dolomite Silver. I'm in Toronto and my dealer says it's a 1.5 to 2 year wait for my car to be delivered!!! We have 5 Porsche dealers in the greater Toronto area and they all have the same wait times.
Reading through a lot of these posts reminds me of when I was tracking my 2019 Carrera T and how exciting that experience was. I certainly hope that things shape up quickly with supply chain and that 2 year wait isn't a reality and speeds up! I cant handle that wait time LOL!!!
Mine also but from past experience TYD is useless once car is on ship and left Germany. Vesselfinder.com or similar allows you to track car until it reaches your port. From that point there is no credible information until it reaches your dealership. Your SA may have info on Porsche ordered port delays but most times is as surprised as anyone when car shows up. It’s all luck on truck availability.
