Well now I have been told that the car has not been released by Porsche and that tPorsche will not disclose anything else about the status of the car or when it will be released. My Porsche website has not been updated since 4/23. Not sure why Porsche believes leaving me in the dark is the right move. Oh, and I have already been paying insurance on the car for almost a month and the first loan payment is due in 6 days (I was told get everything ready because car would be in any day after it first arrived at Davisville).
My delivery experiences have been horrible with the 992’s. I purchased my first one in 2020 and it ended sitting at Davisville for almost three months due to the certification issue.

I still have the checks, after the car didn’t arrive for that Saturday/Monday pickup I kept thinking it would arrive any day so I didn’t unwind anything because I thought I would just have to immediately put it back in place. And I kept seeing other people’s cars pop out quickly. Yesterday the story became not released and no comment from Porsche.

What does your dealership say about the payments? You haven't been issued a title--so how can they require you to make a payment?
I did my first 992 build in 2020 as well. The factory closed because of covid the day before mine was supposed to start being built. I ended up being delayed about 5 months- so I was super excited that this one was going so quickly and ahead of schedule. That is, until it hit Davisville.

Were you able to determine the name of the transport vessel your car is on?

Looks like your car is actually headed BACK to the German port rather than leaving. verdammt! LOL.
