My C4S is still in Baltimore after coming in on the Violet Ace. I just can’t wait. 78 miles away

I recieved three pictures all at once. My car was built about a month ago. I got a push notification on the TYD app and then logged in to the web app and saw the three pics. It has gone either way during the notification process. Sometimes the web app is a day or two head of the mobile app and sometimes the other way around.

Default Add-on services at purchase

Months of waiting, years of dreaming. In 2 days I'll be face to face with my Carrera T! Thanks to some valuable comments in this thread, I have a solid list of things to cover with my SA before taking possession. Aside from PPF which the dealer mandates (fine with that), he mentioned the following potential options they will review with me... "maintenance plan, dent protection, tire and wheel protection, windshield coverage, term protection." I'm sure some of these may be worth adding on but would appreciate any recommendations here! Thanks!

Congratulations!!! I'm all about tire and wheel protection. I've needed it- and used it- quite a bit. The rest I tend to pass on.

Congrats!!!! I'm in the same boat - my 2 year wait for a C2S is less than 2 weeks away and I am super pumped.

Regarding the prepaid list the only one I'm considering is the windshield replacement. All the others I am going to take a pass on. Additionally, since you're not in CA you definitely should not prepay for maintenance as it is non-refundable (in case something happens to the car).

If you buy windshield insurance from the dealer (at what cost?), does your regular insurance give you a discount for that? Windshields are insanely expensive these days.

Does anyone know what the red dates on this mean? My car build has been completed--and the rest of my dates seem to go inline with her sailing on the Amethyst Ace on May 13th--but why is it red?? Thanks.....

My experience with the red dates was, they are either revised dates or added stops.

I wonder if they will be replacing the recalled chip at the port before transporting our cars?

My car was scheduled to arrive at my dealer tomorrow, but TYD shows it is still sitting at Davisville.

Your profile still shows CT, so I thought you would get your car before I did. I am in NJ.

I’m surprised your local entry port is so far north. I would have expected them to use Jacksonville, since it is only about 5 hrs from Atlanta.
