Hey guys would like your opinion on this I'm looking at ordering a new 992 Carrera or 991.1 GT3RS. They're both around 130k$.
The GT3RS I'm looking at has 69,000 KM (42,500 miles) 2016 with weissach package and nice specs overall. But I'm honestly scared of the high mileage, am I completely crazy for considering a GT3RS with such high mileage and will it be impossible to sell down the line?
For more context, I do prefer a GT3/GT3RS 991 over a Carrera 992 but I can't seem to find any GT3s in my area for sale and GT3RS there's another one at 20k KM for around 35k$ more (around 165k$) which is over my budget (of 130k$)
FYI I don't plan on driving it more than 10k KM a year.
What would you do in my shoes, any insight on this matter is greatly appreciated!

Called a dealer Thursday and was able to spec a C2S that was already past the freeze date by a week but they were still able to spec it the way I requested. Have to thank the members who who helped me get it right as I had less than 24 hours to get it done. Impulse buy but happy to grab a 992.1 even though I was somewhat hesitant and wanted to see if a .2 was anywhere close but decided a few HP wasn’t going to make a huge difference to me personally and wanted a MT so looking forward to a late June/early July sans any parts holds, chip issues, etc.

A base Carrera and a GT3RS are completely different animals. The first question you need to ask yourself is “what am I going to use the car for?” If it’s for everyday driving, or even weekend driving in the city and highway, then the answer is clearly the base Carrera. If the car is for the track, then GT3RS it is.
Many people here will say you can daily a GT3RS. To that I say: you can also hammer a screw into a piece of wood if you try really hard.
EDIT: You might also choose the GT3RS if your objective is to be the center of attention wherever you go, regardless of the pain you go through to get there. How good are the streets in your area?
SFL Composer is through the English Channel and on-track to arrive at Emden tomorrow or Tuesday. My 4S (first Porsche) has been sitting at the port for 3 weeks and i'm excited to get it on the boat. It'll be a long trip to Benicia but with some luck I'll have it in early June.
I received news that my C4S finished production this morning (on my computer, not on the app--that's still saying in production). I only received one picture but it looks like most of you are getting more than one. Did you receive your pictures all at once? Thanks!
Anyone with a car from Amethyst Ace seen their car leave Freeport yet? I'm hoping that TYD is behind, and I'll get a surprise text from the dealer today or tomorrow!

Nothing yet. TYD says tomorrow, but I’m not putting much stock into that date. We’ll see!
