That would protect against rock chips but not from bottoming out on a dip or incline or striking a parking block. IMO, PPF would actually look worse because in addition to the damaged paint, the PPF would be broken and peeling in the damaged area.

My SPASM lip on my 991.1 is painted and you don't want to PPF that. Waste of money and more hassle than it's worth. If you do a little scrape, what would be either an unnoticeable or touch-up-able blemish is now peeling PPF. Little scrapes can be easily mended on a painted lip. And I've been super careful with mine so I haven't scraped it yet (JUST one time and was at the very bottom, so unnoticeable, but I put some touchup down there anyway). No issue with rock chips on it as of yet, seems it's too low to have that worry. But I don't drive it on the freeway much.

What is the area between the plastic and the paint. Looks really bad, was it the same on 991? And does the sport design sideskirt eliminate that ?

In the non-SD rear the camera position is at the top of the rear plate niche. In the SD rear the rear plate niche is repositioned from the bottom of the bumper to the middle of the bumper. Can anyone confirm if the rear camera position changes with the rear plate position or stays at the bottom?

Should stay at the bottom as you can retrofit the SD rear (as well as the front)

Probably in the same category like „doesn‘t make my eyes bleed“ or „doesn‘t make me vomit“ 😂

To me, the plate that higher 991-style makes the back of the car fatter, beyonce-style. It seems the designers were so drunk that they put the place lower and then changed their mind and random rise it on the SDP. Can't wait to see the car in person next week! I'm tired on commenting just pictures!

I still think the rear proportion is just off, seeing it in person made me like it more, but it's still not hitting a want button...the new turbo looks WAY better, but who knows till it's official release.

I'm generally not a fan of 911 cabs so its about as good as I could muster up.... I actually think that pic makes it look cool... but in person the verts never look 100% right to me (any generation).

It's a complementary angle at best.

Cabs never look right but I still like em.
