SO, if it really is a lightweight option, does that mean that the 992 is 50kg heavier including this weight-saving?

It's on configurator. I dont think that it is just decorative. Lightweight Carbon roof is about 3590.-€ option in Europe. How much it's lighter I dont know.

I love the hips and the profile view....not too big a fan of the shifter or the rear end treatment.

I'm sure the driving experience will be an upgrade - at least from a measurables perspective.

I'll miss the simplicity of the '100' button console on the 991...

Exterior looks good. Hopefully they improve the interior for the GT cars. GT3 with carbon tub would be nice

Having driven a 2018 Panamera, I personally can't stand the touch sensitive console around the gear shift. If I can't rest my hand on the shifter (good old habit) then resting next to it starts to light up AC temps, fan speed, etc all by accident. I can't tell if this is a similar crappy design on the 911. I see piano black just asking for fingerprints and scratches.

As for PPF from the factory, great! but - how much of the front covered do you get for this?

Not a well resolved design. I get the G50 "tribute" aspects, just have to see it in person. It will grow on everybody (most) and I'm sure it will be fast. Further extension of the inevitable increases in size and weight, not surprising but not something to celebrate either.

Perhaps that makes me a hater #resisting - team smug what say you?

Anyone else notice in the video that if you don't option Sport Chrono you have to go into the touch screen menu to change engine modes? Brilliant.

So here’s the rub; I build one up and TRY to keep options down; still getting into $130s; for the life of me can’t see why I wouldn’t buy a CPO 15 GT3 instead.
