For a "hate" thread, I LIKE the wing.

Amazing how fast they're rolling out options and cars haven't even landed in customers hands yet.

Pretty soon, they'll be announcing the 992.2 at this rate!

glad you caught these pics... any time anybody posted them they were immediately asked to take them down... I do kinda like the wing. I wouldn't order it myself but think it looks rather cool with the sport design rear and quad exhaust.

Looks like it was just 3M double side tape on there. And those rear reflectors keeps getting longer. The wing is good substitution for that base spoiler to never go up which is hideous.

Those cometic "blades" do look odd.

That wing is the saving grace. No joke. Best part of the car no doubt.

The painted piece or "blade" at the bottom is Hyundai/Kia-esq.

The wing looks great. It is very well-integrated into the car's overall styling.

Lightyears ahead of the ZR1 Corvette with the ZTK Track Package..

Porsche clearly got one major aspect of the 992 right if RL is any indication.....there are a lot of new customers interested in this 911 who presumably were not interested in previous versions. The 992 threads have attracted more interest from brand new posters than I can remember since the 986 Boxster.

For sure. BMW did the same thing with Bangle. Porsche saw a need to pivot to survive. As much as I dislike the new cars, I think Porsche had no choice if it wanted to grow.

Personally, I think it's a bit garish and overdone for a standard Carrera, but then again the whole rear end of the car is. It is light years better than the clam though.

Agreed. Looks out of place to me on a non-GT car.

Back in the 991.1 days, we had the Aerokit Cup.

There are always NEW buyers coming into the fold. Some fall off, some jump on. Will be interesting to see net yearly sales.

At least the Bangle era had good driving cars. The E60 still felt like a BMW, the E81 was weird looking but drove great, the E90 was a masterclass.

I hope Porsche doesn't follow in once esteemed BMW's footsteps, at least where sports cars are concerned.

As for the 992, I'm waiting for a Jason Cammisa review. He doesn't hold back on the flaws of a car.
