It's already been confirmed that the upcoming 992 GT2 RS will by hybrid and put out more than 700 hp.

I dont see this possible if other poster is right about GTS and 550hp. GT2RS would be 800-850hp. Yes those figures are greater than 700hp mathematically but substantially so.

Ok, Sorry. The “Exclusive Manufaktur edition” will be 550HP and will look very cool.

makes no difference to me if 911 gives turbo motors hybrid assist. each generation gets heavier and more remote feeling anyway.

problem will be if they do this to the gt line up too. maybe can get away with it in a gt2 thats turbo anyway but will ruin a na gt3 motors feel.

That makes 992.2 GT3 being hybrid seem more plausible. And in that case, I think the 992.1 GT3 is the one I'd prefer.

Porsche owns 22% of Rimac and someone asked, what do we get for that? This is the answer

Why couldn’t Porsche come up with a car that could seat more than two people and keep up with a Plaid or an Air Sapphire for only $250K?

According to this, the first 1500 992.2s will keep the NA 4.0 but then they'll switch to a hybrid 3.6

This is why I asked why you were panicking for paying $60k over the other day.

I know … this is the car I’m talking about.

Remember that Porsche dropped out of LMP1 to go race in Formula E - where they got beat by a customer team last season! - and build electric cars.

Porsche has not won a non-spec / non-BOP race since 2017.

Do you think anyone will be paying less than $250K for one of these? Options, tax.

Maybe with the NEXT facelift they can compete with the $90K Plaid!
