I need to chime back in here with all these comparisons. I’ll say, that with all nannies off, at its limits, the 992 GT3, is a handful. The 997 GT cars and the 4RS are much more predictable and easy to drive at 10/10ths. They may make more noise and tingle the senses and feel more raw and the steering is direct and stiffer clutch, I get it, I’ve owned a few 997 GTRS and driven the 4RS. But when pushed those cars are balanced and smoother than the 992 GT3 when pushed. They are easier to drive and mask bad drivers habits.
The 992 manual GT3 is the absolute best drivers car Porsche has made to date. Race on Sunday, drop kids off to school Monday.

@bergx7 @cosmos thank you both. Ultimately I'm handicapped by my pcar hiatus. I was without Porsche and track time for over a decade and don't have seat time in modern pcars. I'm further handicapped by my move to Mexico, where finding a car to drive is a challenge. But what I don't want to do is miss the boat on GOAT cars, which I feel the 992 GT3 and GT4RS are. I think I need to pay a visit to PEC somewhere and line up some seat time and perhaps I need to consider keeping the 7GT3 as it is a special car also.

Didn't want to be the first one to say but the lines of the 992GT3 was all over the place. The 4RS driver knew the track and his lines were perfect. Even so would never ever swap my new 4RS for any 992GT3 whatever the spec.

wow that was painful to watch, GT3 dude overdriving like crazy to stay in front and couldn’t hit an apex if he wanted to! Reminds me of most Vette drivers in the USA at track days. Good driving! Taking mine there on ED this summer so will be watching your videos to learn the best lines.

I am also looking at both cars, something I worry about the gt4rs its the material quality of the 718 platform. It seems like porsche always favours the 911, and the 718 platform I am just not sure the materials used. For the gt4rs you can’t even get a carbon roof which i read it’s because of the platform, and 911s seems to use a lot of aluminum, and 718 seems to be using less aluminum and more steel, which I heard is the reason why a smaller platform is not that much lighter. Otherwise I do favor the gt4rs, but if someone knows this information could confirm with me, whether the gt4rs is using better materials compared to the regular 718 and compared to the 911 platform?

Not contest. It's us having more fun, sitting here in our offices and typing sh... stuff into Rennlist behind our computers.
A close second, though, is whoever designed those golf pants. That fashion designer guy was having a LOT of fun that day.
