Just got an allocation at a Nor Cal dealer at 100K ADM. Tried to go lower (I have a purchase history of several GT cars), but management wouldn't budge. Price was 100K for existing customers, 125K for others. SA did say I could wait and take the gamble to see if prices would go down (i.e. they can't sell them at 100K over). So whatever it is what it is. I'm sure I get screwed when I trade in my 991.2 RS too.

Didn’t Porsche just announced because of part shortage there will be production delays across all models? Why would they be handing out more allocations this fall?

If they do it'll be because of them wanting to make $$$

Porsche's parts problem and production delays have been the talk of the auto world. For a company that prides itself on organizational efficiency, it looks like a gang that can't shoot straight. The company image has been tarnished, and I don't care how successful it has been, it is a PR disaster. Those who have allocations for fall builds cannot rely on getting their car built in that time frame.

Their second quarter results. Related to the alloy part shortage because of a vendor factory flooding in Switzerland which was reported by several news outlets.

For anyone upgrading from a 992 touring in highly desirable combination (pts, em, 6mt, every option) into a preconfigured 3rs, was it an msrp for msrp deal or are you getting hit with a big mark up? What’s market for that trade?

NG trying for the "in/out" deal. SA says they can't do it across state lines. So it's back to GT3 220 trade in and 75 ADM. I'll have to reconsider sales tax hit selling the GT3 and direct purchase of the RS😒.

Default Across State lines

The individual states can charge you your state tax or $0. They should work your trade against your new car. They are trying to cost you tax money, etc. I have moved and transferred cars all over the US and never had this happen.

I appreciate your comments. Going to hit the FL dealer up again. I'm out of state, AL.

+1 I register my cars in Nevada while my dealer is in Texas...no issues here.

Login to your TYD in Chrome, then Press Ctrl+Shift+I
In Developer window, go to "Network tab"
In network tab, click on "Fetch/XHR" (its under "filter")
Now in the browser, click on the car you are looking to track
You will see a request called USMxxxx where xxxx represents your commission id, click on that and look at Response, the V status should be there.

Only build I have coming up that shows an "USM" anything is for my 3RS.

No notification like that for the 4RS

Still nothing from Porsche three weeks later to confirm or deny PTS.

The waiting game continues. Cool trick nonetheless. Thanks!
