Any shops in LA area that people would recommend for a combined Musicar + Resonix install job?

 

2nd this but in Norcal! Finding a trustworthy audio shop is so difficult.

 

I was looking forward to do the Musical upgrade to the base 992 stereo, but then they went totally MIA on the project and stopped responding just a couple weeks before it was supposed to launch. 8 months later, still crickets...

 

I emailed Nick but no response myself. Bummer to hear you haven't had contact with him. I really want to do one of their packages but their site provides no info so it's kinda scattered across different posts in different forums. I'll try messaging him on the forum and see.

 

Yes, I'm hearing from KDixon that the $2800 plug and play amp is a must.
After I install the Resonix on my doors, this will be next.

 

I tried it in stages. Did door speakers first and listened to a bit and it maybe made a difference at loud levels but it’s basically just reproducing a bad signal anyway. After plugging in the amp it came alive. I’ve had several people sit in the drivers seat for a demo and all of them have remarked on how good the quality is and how non fatiguing the listening experience is. A few have sat in a little longer than anticipated enjoying. Just did a solo drive from Oklahoma to Alabama and had one of the most enjoyable interstate drives. Disclaimer: not an audiophile and have some hearing issues, but I am a concert and music lover in general so I am exposed to it constantly.

 

Agree with @dixonk 100% - same experience. Very high-quality upgrade, and super straighforward install, but expensive. Worth it in my book.
