From my latest research
seems that the St will be based on a slim body,at least on the rear...in front i don't know..but at the rear "unfortunately" for my taste, seems not wide.
if you look specially at the sideskirts you will see the difference in the rear part respect to the one of the Turbo/SC and RS(that are wiiiider than the one of the mules of the ST)
The only thing that let me hopes again are the rims....if the ST will have the RS wheels...how can they fit on a slim body? i don't know the offset of the standard GT3 compared to RS ones, but i think are not the same.
Sincerely i wait for something more "exclusive",instead is not so easy to see the difference from a standard touring(not that i don't like a Touring...but only for tell that at the start seems the St was based on a RS...instead seems based on a GT3)

Could always stamp out more rear quarters?
The mag wheels would imply the rear would have to be wide to account for them

These test cars with BB/LB plates are pretty much the final form of the car. They are only road testing final settings and validating at this point, what you see is what you get there won't be any major changes.

Width of 911 ST
IT APPEARS MOST OF THE ENTIRE LINE is the same width at the rear. Why the concern the ST is going to be narrow body when everything else is wide, Carrera T to Turbo S.

As noted above people are being imprecise / inaccurate calling it narrow. Pre-992 there were three widths now only two and both previously were considered wide. Now we have two. The SC appears to be the narrowER chassis but is still somewhat wide, just not like the SC (now vents) or RS/Turbo (w vents.)
I also don't but the comments about soft too Land die. I've never know of one that can only handle 1500 stamping then it loses integrity.
