Getting these cars is all just a big game.
when base 911 is a 2 year wait, you either have to already be in the game or be willing to pay ADM (especially for GT/ limited cars)
its like this because all 911s are great cars and there’s tons of demand… and they appear to be underpriced (for now)

If they only made 1900-2000 992GT3s, from early 21 that would mean that the UK has received about 60% of Production. I think you will find the the 10k figure is about right to date if not a few more.

Another point of reference, Porsche made ~40k 911 (all variants) in 2022 globally.

They are following the Ferrari playbook. Specials, much higher prices for customization, more willingness to customize (still need to add capacity), heavier emphasis on higher end models and status. The brand is clearly changing at the higher end and I fear they are losing some of what made them unique but we'll see. Inevitable in some ways.
As for Grants list unless I missed them the 991 GT2 Club Sport and 935 to me still count even though track only.

There is absolutely no way they made less 992.1 than they did 991.2. Likely the same number.
I'm sorry for anyone here who felt misled by their dealer stating they were going to make 2,000 of these globally as you forked over a $50k+ ADM.
5000 Cars a year over two years is 8% of Zuff 911 output, I don't see how that is in anyway unbelievable.
Furthermore I'd expect them to pump out another 5k 992 GT3 RS.
And further more than that, for anyone's curiosity, 996.1 - 997.2 GT3's were all made to order.
You didn't need to be a special customer or have some long wait list or anything.
There was no exclusive factor, rare or cool factor, they simply made as many GT3's as there were people willing to buy them, almost entirely track rats.
This shows the massive shift in demand for the product and demand for 911's and GT products overall compared to 2010.
