What’s road noise like? And together with mechanical noises, is the whole experience easy to live with?

I’ll assume a general question. For me, it was louder than a 992 GT3 but quieter than a GT4RS, which I absolutely hated and wanted to drive an ice pick through my ears.

If you can live with a 4RS as a daily the ST will seem like a gentleman touring, if the regular GT3 is about as much as you can take, then option the smaller tank and add some sound deadening.

One question, why are you being so cautious with RPMs? On all my GT cars recently Porsche has recommended 1500km under 7k rpms? I would imagine that for a motor that revs so freely you would be lugging the motor most of the time which doesn’t seem wise. Just curious and congrats.
Agreed.
I don't understand this either.
In gears 4, 5, and 6 lugging the engine like that?
No bueno.

For those who think just throwing a light weight flywheel onto a GT3 will get you most of the way there, haven’t had seat time in a ST yet will be disappointed when they do.
@cosmos sure, different, but are the st and gt3t redundant? I assumed yes.

After two years on this thread hearing and seeing the first few cars arrive is really cool.

I imagine 918 VIP... who were not restricted to the one year lease requirement.
