Can't tell if you're joking, but that isn't a lot of dust... That's less than I get from my 991.2 RS.

Ya'll need to stop going to the dealer for anything but warranty work. They only exist to squeeze as much money as possible out of you.

LOL. That's not from your brake pads. That's road grime from driving 200 miles. Relax.

Yes, the 992 PCCB pads are poor on the track. Not only do they dust but they don't last. I usually get 4+ weekends on a set of 991 GT3 PCCB pads. I got only 2 weekends on the new 992 PCCB pads.

I bought some 991 PCCB pads to stock up before they stop making the pads with more copper. I bought some Pagid RSC1 pads and replaced my worn 992 pads. The 991 pads do fit in the 992.

[QUOTE................................................................The 991 pads do fit in the 992.[/QUOTE]

You need to do a little more research on this, while they may fit, they are not an authorized replacement which has huge implications..think of the "knock on" effect.

If you are going to swap, make sure your Dealer does it, but doubt they will since it is not authorized?

That would mean replacing pads with any aftermarket pad like the Pagid RSC1's would void the warranty? How many of us Porsche owners put on Pagid, Ferodo or Race Technologies pads? I guess I like doing my own work on the car rather than take it to the dealer for everything.

Nobody is limiting you, or suggesting that you be limited. However, actions have consequences (Newtons third law) and be sure you understand them. That said, you can do what ever you want, whether you understand the consequences/implications or not.

Oh! He just slips in “by the way, these new brake pads fit the GT3 as well.” Perhaps they will stop all the dust…

Do you know if there is a Pagid RSC1 for the 992 Turbo S. My new panamera has ceramics with the non-copper compound and it's the same front and rear caliper. The dust is seriously bad lol

Not impressed with these pads. Dust is not the problem; my 991.1 has better bite, power and modulation. They do stop, but they just feel dead.

I have a 2023 GT3T on order, and I included the PCCB brakes. Are they still worth the upgrade? The car will mainly be driven on the street. I always liked the weight savings and lack of dust. Is Porsche fixing the pad issue for the 2023 MY cars? I believe that I had heard that they would switching to the pads used on the GT4. Thanks

Seems like they are reading rennlist after all. I would if I were them...
