mine was released for transport on 1/9/23, but no update on port exit on truck yet
Thanks for the update. My SA is still showing arrival at dealership on Friday, but that has been the case since the car was still in Eden. I was hoping for a bit earlier given the vessel arrived early. Patience.
I find the actual ship location on vesselfinder to be best, and can relay the most agonizing phases are waiting to get loaded in Emden to a boat and when they click to TRANSPREL status but remain at port for days and days before arriving. not sure how dealers in the midwest cope.
re: quality action- it's always vague. but a lot of the cars recently that need this are because of some kind of software updates. occasionally there will be a small part like a front facing parking camera that needs to be R+R'd but actual damage to cars is hyper rare with Porsche.

I started with VesselFinder after I knew I was on a vessel leaving Emden. But once it was too far away from land to track, and I didn't want to pay to track, I switched to MarineTraffic. If you scroll down a bit, on the lefthand side you'll see Route Forecast, and it shows you were the ship actual is.

I did the same.
Marine Traffic became my go to "non-subscription" app for tracking.
And when the vessel is anywhere near the coastline, the tracking updates are pretty close to "real-time".
The "Route Forecast" feature and "Past Track" are definitely cool features.

on the marine traffic iOS app u can pay 1 dollar a a day to satellite track a single boat for 24 hrs.
In TYD...is the In Transit to Emden just a graphic or is it tracking along the route? Mine is in transit and I got excited that it was halfway to Emden and it would arrive much earlier to the port than the 7 days it's saying it would take. But then I thought maybe this is just graphic and its not actually halfway. I was really hoping to catch the Siem Confucius which loads the 18-19th and getting to Davisville, RI on Feb 2nd.

I don't think the tracker is "live" between the factory and Emden, just a fixed point on a map, but your first wish might come true. It only took 1 day for my car to go from production complete to arrival at Emden, even though the tracker initially predicted that same week. I do not think that route is very constrained, not a bottleneck....

This might be were you aren't as lucky... Things definitely seem backed up at Emden, looks like to Houston at least I was scheduled on the second ship to load after my port arrival rather than the first. That's to Houston though, which is a different route.

That's good to know. And, I figured it was doubtful that I'd get there and then onto a vessel within a week. But since there aren't any other routes heading to Davisville that I see, I'm crossing my fingers, nonetheless.
I'm not sure if the Feb schedule is available yet, but I emailed the name on the schedule above (Ingrid) requesting a January schedule and they responded quickly... If not the Siem Confucius, likely whatever boat is scheduled for early Feb...
@dogshyne have you gotten further updates since you were in port processing? We seem to be getting the same info at the same time, you from TYD and me from my SA. Mine was released and ready for transport yesterday, but I received no update today.
Mine was released for transport on Tuesday but nothing yet. My tyd still says port processing. the dealer got 'a few' cars yesterday and 'a few' cars today. my TYD says 1.13 date to dealer so maybe it will make it there tomorrow? i was hoping it would be there now...

FWIW: My SA told me that they dont know when the truck arrives with the cars.
It literally shows up with no notice.
