Anyone else obsessing over Lake Wanaka entering the port channel in RI right now? I’m losing my mind with excitement…getting so close! 20 year dream in the making that is so close, I can taste it!
Glovis Slendor has docked in Benicia (SF Bay)… was plastered to my laptop refreshing the screen as I watched it navigate its last 100 miles into port…. Like an adolescent. Was I excited to know it has been all around the globe and finally here?… or was it relief to know it made it all the way home without that ship blowing up or sinking…. I don’t know… probably both… my Dark Rocket (Agate C4GTS) is now just a few days away at most… I so deserve this…

I really didn't want the car until May ---- but the weather this weekend has me reconsidering that and getting pretty excited.
And your 20 year dream comment just really landed with me, I am 50 so have a decade or two on you in that regard...feeling pretty lucky.

I'm 46 and have been dreaming of the GT3 since its inception. This is my first Porsche and it's what I've been working towards for a long time. Also feeling quite lucky!
When I was 10 or so I used to love playing Matchbox cars on one of those tracks with a loop and a jump.
My porsche 911 was just the right weight to nail the loop and land the jump perfectly.
Guess i never let that go.

I was told my car is in the lake wanaka ship and it looks like it will arrive in Houston on the 17th. How long does it usually take to process the car and get to the dealership? I'm in Dallas, which is about a 4 Hour drive from Houston. I know it varies and the car can get stuck there sometimes, but what is the average time a car normally stays at the port once it's has arrived?
Anybody else have this issue? TYD is saying my car is still on the Lake Wanaka and didn’t get off in RI as it was supposed to. I’m assuming it’s just that it hasn’t updated yet….hoping and praying that’s it. 😬
