I’m a fan of clean design from Porsche. The 992 GT3 front isn’t the best from Porsche to date. The front looks like it has an overbite issue. The 997’s and 991’s on the other hand are timeless.

It was interesting watching the IMSA Cayman Island race at Road America. The 991s looked really dated to me. Still like the 997 better than the 992, but it's growing on me.

IMO there's no such thing as a dated looking 911. The 992 does not photograph well. I find them not so good looking in photos but in person I'm always gawking at them. Especially the Turbo/Turbo S.

Something about the proportions / lines / height of it just isn't right. They should have tried to copy the Mac 720.

Agreed in Cup form, the 992 cup looks significantly more developed. Which is interesting since I long for a 991 cup (991.1 looks better imo) and drool each time I see one in person. Looking forward to seeing how the street cars compare in the flesh.

Agreed - that's what happens when Corvette decided to give folks a usable trunk (for golf clubs). Without that extra luggage space, the design would be much better.

I think it looks pretty good too. Not a fan of the black "side-blade" part, but the biggest flaw to me is it looks way too high - the gap in the wheel wells is pretty goofy looking. Z06 probably addresses this to some extent.

I for one appreciate the golf club consideration

Big thumbs up from me. So much better looking than C7.

Looks like the stingray for the most part and stingrays are everywhere right now; saw at least 6 of them this weekend at cars and cigars. I think the C7 looks way better. In any case, I’m very interested in how it will perform and whether it will be able to take hard driving on the track

That's a big improvement over the base C8 IMO.

Yeah, one of the few times with the Corvette where more design styling elements is actually better.

Significantly improved over the high-riding slab-sided look. The front fender blister shape is spot-on, front grill is a bit of messy one but I'm sure in person will be better. Not a clean or beautiful design, but a strong improvement.

I think the way to go is full z07 package though... this is a track car.
