I spoke the the GM of my dealership at Cars and Coffee on Sunday and he said that PCNA is going to start moving cars from the ports to the dealerships for completion there. He has a Panamera in the showroom awaiting a part. Apparently there is a big meeting today between North American dealers and Porsche Germany so I'm sure more info should be forthcoming soon.

Probably so the dealers can look like they didn't go out of business with the empty parking lot! Porsche Chandler had only 1 new car on the whole lot today. Base Taycan. Everything else is used cars.

Inventory is all over the place in socal. Some dealers have plenty of cars while others barely have any. No 911s around anywhere though.

Date holding ... so far
My car was supposed to clear Davisville on 8/18 an arrive at my dealer on 8/20. Around 8/16-17 they changed that to 9/24. That date hasn't moved since, and we are now 8 days away and counting down. I really hope the date holds.
Even if they release it without the TPMS, my dealer could at least prep the car, do the paint protection, etc., so that when the TPMS do arrive, it's the last step.

listening to the news they are saying the ports are jam packed and there isn't room for the ships with incoming deliveries. apparently there are ships just parked off the coasts in some areas waiting for room to open up so it makes sense.

How did you confirm is was completed on the 13th and being loaded onto the Bishu Highway? Most take a week to get from CP.08 to Emden arrival. TYD does not share anything about what ship it is being loaded onto until after the fact, and the dealer screen shows est. date as well with no info aside of dates and campaigns.

later in the day when I went on tyd everything lined up with what he had told me
also today tyd updated from a 10/22 arrival at dealer to a 10/01 arrival I guess we shall see what happens
