Anyone hear of any rumors this week re TPMS chips? My car has been stuck in Benicia port for about 18 days and no updates from TYD, still says 10/1 but assuming TYD isn't updated again until car is in transport to dealer.

Mine is being held hostage in Davisville too (TPMS issue). Also 10/1. Been there since 8/18. Very frustrating...

Spoke to the GM today and he said he didn’t think my tire sensor issue would be long. Said Porsche is on it, especially for cars that are sold they are priority. Who knows… time will tell!

if it’s only a month delay is not so bad compared to the new Mercedes S class that were at the port for 3 months or so waiting for a chip that were on back order

I’m suspecting the 10/1 date is a guess place holder for cars with the TPMS issue. Mine is still in transit(?) to Port Emden with a delivery date of 10/1, which clearly isn’t possible.

My car arrived at Emden yesterday. Says it isn't getting on a ship until 10/8. 
Original delivery date for me was suppose to be 9/17. Now it's middle of November. Still better than my Ram TRX that came about 5 months late.

I may be on the same ship. My TYD says it will be in Emden on 10/8. Hoping!

I spoke the the GM of my dealership at Cars and Coffee on Sunday and he said that PCNA is going to start moving cars from the ports to the dealerships for completion there. He has a Panamera in the showroom awaiting a part. Apparently there is a big meeting today between North American dealers and Porsche Germany so I'm sure more info should be forthcoming soon.
